I’ve had trouble time and time again with a specific banker at this location. She is needlessly rude to clients, yells at coworkers while clients are present and fails to take accountability for anything- I’ve heard it all every time I have to go in here. If you go to this location, stay away from Kate! I’m amazed she still had a job with this bank from how horrible she treats everyone around her- quite frankly it’s embarrassing, she’s old enough to be my mom yet acts like a toddler. Do better PNC!

Unfortunately this review is going to be very similar to others review went in to Cash a check that was written off of there bank. No I do not bank there, just needed to cash the check & I was able to provide the two forums of ID provided the teller herself was nice had good customer service went through the motions of offering the benefits of banking with them. Then she asked me to take a seat, which I thought was a little odd. But I sat down than a few minutes later was told that they cannot cash the check because they only cash insurance checks that come from Progressive. Another red flag 🚩 so after stating the obvious that the check is written off of there bank. & the women who was in the corner office is the one who brought me my check back, to in forum they couldn’t do it. She then repeated back the same information as if I was not comprehending. With that being said I just said okay thank you & walked out. I would not recommend banking with them or going to this branch at all god forbid if you do bank with them.

PNC processed a deposit incorrectly and deposited 15,000 instead of 1,500. It has now been almost a week and they have no corrected my account. The best they told me is 90 days to correct it and do not spend over what I should have in my account. I have had to watch my account very closely because I do not want to be accused of theft when they finally fix it. They have not communicated with me at all this week since they made this error. I would not do business with PNC if you are thinking about it and I will be closing my account as soon as possible. They have left me in limbo after being a customer for years and have basically shrugged at my issue. I disputed the deposit and they don't care. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!

Wanted to transfer a business Bank account to my name and apparently a manager is the only one who can do this, and apparently all the managers in the area were in a full day meeting and so now myself and three other people all have to go to the bank again. Really blows my mind that PNC has a business model this poor

Been a customer of this branch since they switched to PNC. Today while doing my banking, which they made me come in for, they wouldn’t let me use the restroom. If I would have been able to go through the drive through it would have been fine but they made me go in and wait then refused to let me use the restroom. Like what ??

Opening a business account at branch is challenging as they are short staffed. Need to jump through lots of hoops to setup a meet with bank manager. Plenty of other banks to choose from.

Horrible online banking customer service… This transition from BBVA to PNC has been a NIGHTMARE for your customers! Very poor business acumen used when making this merger. Customer’s, literally paying customers like myself , suffer from it… Extremely annoying and inconvenient

Bay area blvd location in clear lake does not provide contactless banking.I was in the drive through and ccx was told I had to come in the lobby to cash my paycheck. After handing over every I'd I had and waited 10 mins they are wanted to charge me 10 dollars a check to cash. There new policy is charging 10 a check to cash and no contactless banking for non bbva customers.

Probably should have read.the reviews first. I just opened an account and was rushed out of the bank before my online account was even set up and ready to be accessed. It's Friday and I will be canceling this account on Monday.

If I could give negative stars for this bank I would. So I’m giving the lowest rating I can possible. I’m going to share my 4 encounters with this BBVA bank. I’ve never been to a bank that is so unprofessional.First visit: I went to cash a BBVA check. I do not hold an account with them. I went through the drive-thru and was told since I do not bank with them I had to go inside. Understandable, each bank has their policies. I drove around, parked and went in. They asked for 2 forms of ID... odd. But I did not argue and handed over my driver’s license and license to carry. They cashed my check and I was on my way.Second visit: This time I parked and went in to cash my BBVA check. Again, I used my drivers license and license to carry. No issue. I was told there was a $10 fee since I do not bank with them and it is “an inconvenience”. Um, rude. I explained I was not told previously about a fee. They tried to argue it and ended up waiving it this time and warned me that the next time there would be $10 to cash my check.Third visit: Once again, I parked and walked in to cash my BBVA check wind with my drivers license and license to carry and was immediately told, “you could have gone through the drive-thru”. I explained that I was told I could not since I do not bank with them. They said that was not true. Now I’m confused. I paid my ridiculous $10 fee and went on my way.Fourth visit: This time I went through the drive-thru, I politely said good morning. I placed my BBVA check along with the same drivers license and license to carry in the bin. The lady then asked for 2 forms of ID. I explained there were, she said they were the same. I explained they were not the same, one is a drivers license and the other a license to carry. Then she asked for my debit card. I told her no, those ID’s were accepted the past 3 times I’ve been here. She put us on mute, asked her coworker about it, the coworker said something and shook her head in annoyance. The lady came back on and proceeded to say “well it’s a $10 fee” I told her “it’s fine”. She took her time cashing my check. She came back to return my stuff. Then rudely says “next time we won’t accept those ID’s. We need a debit card as a form of ID. I told her “no, I am not giving y’all my debit card. I am not comfortable with that. I used my license to carry and drivers license before and that is what I will continue to use. Y’all should have been clear on that on my past 3 visits” she continued to argue and I drove off mid-conversation in frustration. As a pregnant healthcare worker in a time of crisis, I find it ridiculous to have to put up with such attitude and inconvenience. I have never gone through this with any other bank. I understand I do not bank with BBVA, but I do not have a BBVA bank near where I live and will not open an account for “their convenience”. This BBVA bank on Bay Area Blvd in the Houston/Webster area is the worst bank I have ever encountered. I hope my experiences share the frustration that I’m sure other customers are going through.
