I have two kids and was able to get only one yeti rambler on the yeti site (due to color preference) but my other daughter wanted purple (which yeti didn't have) so I moved heaven and earth to find the purple yeti at Bering's. Even paid $15 shipping. But Bering's reached out days later to tell me they had no purple yetis in stock, after confirming. Now I have to get another and pay shipping again. Terribly disappointed that they could not provide this information from the beginning.

Asked about Panini press. Wanted to know which ones were the most reliable. We've had two panini presses go out over the last 10 years.He asked me which press I had. I said we've tried Cuisinart and breville. Immediately told me the problem was with my wall socket and walked off.Wall sockets don't effect the press controls, not that he was around long enough to tell. Poor staff attitude like that is really hard to find.

It says “Hardware” in the name but this store is so much more than that!!! They had such great fine china (like Herend!)and crystal (Lalique). I love Le Creuset cookware and found a bunch of different colors here that I haven’t seen elsewhere. It’s a big store too, which you can’t tell from outside! Lots of unique clothes, accessories and home decor. Would be an excellent place to find a gift for someone. Prices are very fair. Definitely plan to come back!

We really enjoyed registering at Berings. The items available at the store are special and keepsakes that will last forever. The whole wedding registry process was smooth and enjoyable. James our consultant couldn't have been better. He was patient, kind, and very knowledgable. He made the experience very fun! And when it came to picking up our items Chad was the man! He was so kind, personal, and helpful with loading everything into our car! Both these men deserve recognition and if you ever need help ask for James and or Chad! We definitely will be back for years to come!

The best, I went today and had a plumbing issue. I was greeted right away and directed to the plumbing department and I was able to get my issue resolved and I believe everyone went out of their way to offer assistance. It was a great experience and I will absolutely go back.

Today I went to Bering’s to look for corporate gifts for a conference. I settled on engraved Yeti cups for all of the attendees. Let me just start with the level of professionalism and patience of the staff.D’Andre went above and beyond as we mapped out colors, sizes and quantities. This could have been just another sale…. Just another customer. It was everything but that.My experience was beyond exceptional and I know the attendees will love this special gift. Thank you D’Andre, David and team members for providing a loss talent that many retailers lack - first class customer service.

Took my kids water bottle there to get engraved, they charged me $25 for the engraving per bottle, same cost as the water bottle itself. The place is over priced and most of things from there you can easily find online for a better price! I wouldn’t want to go back. Avoid this one if you like good deals and to SAVE money.

I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. I encouraged my daughter to register for her wedding. It was an awful 18 month experience accumulating with today & the worse customer service I have ever received from the Mgr of the store. I will no longer shop here. And will encourage others to do the same especially the bridal registry department.

I’ve been going to Berings since I was a child. Hacksaw and cinnamon coffee are true highlights of my childhood. Today I am expecting and have a friend who is getting married shortly and registered here. I walked in looking for a specific item and was directed to James who immediately knew what I was looking for, got me hooked up with the most beautiful complementary bridal wrapping, and provided top tier customer service from the second I walked in. While I waited for my gift to be wrapped, I walked to the coffee bar where I happened to meet Brendan. He is beyond knowledgeable about coffee and found me that childhood coffee that I loved so much. As a pregnant woman who can barely keep anything down, I was craving the nostalgia and Brendan gave it to me. He knows his stuff, from the types of coffee, to the roast type, and the machines the company uses. Both of these people deserve a huge raise. My entire day was made just by stepping into Berings today. Kudos to these friendly faces who would make me come back to Berings just because of the care, compassion, and kindness they showed. I hope to see them running the place one day soon!

*BEST LOCAL STORE IN TOWN*This is the best local store in town without question. It has that small-town hardware store charm, but it's stocked with the top brands. Its collection ranges from the upscale (think Waterford, Baccarat, and Juliska) to the outdoorsy (think Yeti, Green Egg, and Weber) to the culinary (think Wusthof, Zwilling, and Le Creuset). A great place for a wedding registry (we registered there 10 years ago).This store has something for everyone. Say hello to Hacksaw, the store parrot and mascot, and he might say hello back!

Eclectic mix of household and specialty items are abundant in this Westheimer store down the street from the Galleria.Was pleasantly surprised at the amazing customer service as we were just looking and had at least 6 friendly employees come to ask us for help.We tried coffee from the barrister, and he gave us a thorough overview of where to find things in the store.Very impressive!!They offer some high-end cooking ware from France , monogrammable cutting boards , a nice selection of hardware, and even items for your garden.I loved their selection of spices and even found a brand that can not find any more at my local HEB.To the right of the store in the next building, they had a chef cooking fajitas and making salad with dressing for you to try from the store.In the next building they now have a mancave worth seeing and a section with many baby items and decorative card items with stationary.We even learned this store started as a hardware store in the 1940s and has evolved over the years to serve the community.I appreciated that they had security present as Westheimer can be somewhat unsafe and the customer service was impressive.
