I’m here in Houston because my granddaughter is in the Children’s Hospital. This hotel costs is reasonable for what they have to offer. The hotel staff is very accommodating especially the young lady who checked me in. I like that they don’t charge for parking and have shuttle services. Prior to this I was staying at the Hilton, they’re overpriced, very limited shuttle services on the week days and zero shuttle services on the weekends, to park at the Hilton is $20.00 per day……my point is, I needed convenience, Surestay simplified my needs regarding my purpose in being in Houston. If you need a decent hotel due to a love one being in the hospital for a lengthy time then try Surestay…..it’s not a 5 star hotel but it’s decent and convenient

Very comfortable beds. Nice room sizes. A lot of TV channels on satellite. Would have given 5 stars but the hot tub and heated pool were cold. I will stay again.Safety: Security is in the lobby and patrol the property often.

If the price I see online is $77 then that is what I should get it for, not 90$ and that was discounted cause my husband was having surgery. The carpet in the room was sticking to my socks. Oh and if you are paying cash expect to pay a 50$ deposit. The hot tub didn't work and the place smelled musty. I found it funny that the info card on the back of the door priced an overnight stay at $500. The free breakfast was the nicest thing in the place. The workers could learn some elevator etiquette. Always assume someone is in the elevator. Let us out before you come in.Sam was an amazing front desk clerk! Absolutely amazing!Walkability: I was able to walk to the hospital.

I called before I booked to ask if the pool was working was told yes pool is good but the hot tub isn't working. Booked 2 nights and the pool is indoor and 50 degrees. Went to the gym and none of the equipment has power cords so nothing works. Will never stay here again and don't recommend anyone else does either. Why lie to your customer who is gonna be there to find out.Best Western should take their name off this hotel. Rename it to Regret Inn

I was a first time guest at this hotel in September 2023 as I was in Houston for a visit at MD Anderson. I was unfamiliar with the area and researched many hotels looking primarily at price and location. This hotel fit both of my needs. My room was very comfortable and was a true sanctuary as I was there for medical reasons and not a vacation - it was alwasy nice to come back to my extremely comfortable king bed. The staff was kind and helpful and it was very nice to have the shuttle service available. I did have to walk back from an appointment at night and felt safe doing so. The breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. The menu changed a bit each day and was actually served to you by some very nice ladies. They do have a laundry facility which is great for longer stays and the front desk will provide laundry detergent. I did not use the pool so cannot speak to that but it looked clean and nice. If you are in the area for medical treatment I suggest this hotel as it should meet your needs.Walkability: Short walk to medical facilities and restaurants.

We booked this due to the location to MDA. It’s nothing like the pictures online at all. First thing I noticed was the odors. Price was way to much for what you get. It was dark and musty. Breakfast was ok but food wasn’t hot, it was room temperature. We didn’t stay for the second night. Left and went to the Holiday Inn it was much nicer, it smelled so clean and cost less. Definitely will not stay here again.

We stayed here for three nights before my husband had surgery at Houston Methodist. It is within walking distance but a little further away from several other hotels which were more expensive. The pool was not clean. But then I have some pretty high standards. The beds were not very good. Will not stay here again because of that. They must be 10 years old at least.
