Went in to get my two bikes serviced.Greeted by Fred and promptly sent to the service area.Jimmy, the service manager, checked my bikes out to see what was needed on it. Stated things look good, lubed up my chains. Recommended some new tires for my bike (to which I purchased) and I went on my way. No charges for checking out the bike, applying the lube on the chains and some minor fixes that took less than 15 minutes. I would've also gladly paid for Jimmy's time if he asked, but there was no charge. Not to mention, Jimmy took his time to answer my questions about bike maintenance and even provided tips on how to ensure my bike is taken care of so it can ride better and last longer. My experience here was much better than where I originally bought my bikes. They were friendly and weren't pushy on anything. I'm a bike noob, they could've stated I needed a detailed tune up and I would've went with it. But, they didn't.In my short experience they were friendly and honest and that's enough to get me coming back and recommending folks to check them out.

Editing this review based on a more recent experience: I don't really have anything bad to say about the friendliness or promptness of service, but I do have a concern. A few months ago, I had my bike wheels converted to tubeless here, and I was expecting to have to buy new tires because while my wheels were tubeless ready, the tires that were currently on my bike were not. I was surprised when upon picking the bike up, my invoice was a lot less than I expected since I was expecting to also have the cost of tubeless ready tires added to the bill. When I picked up the bike, I told them I was expecting to also be purchasing new tires, and asked if it was fine to run a tubeless setup with standard, non-tubeless Continental GP5000s. I was assured that since they were holding a seal, it should be fine. It did work for a little while, but last week I hit something on the road that caused the bead to unseat and my tires to suddenly lose pressure. I took it back to Blue Line, and the mechanic didn't seem concerned about the tires that they'd installed, but was going to order some tubeless-ready tires because they didn't have any in stock. I ended up taking my bike to a different shop that had the tires I wanted in stock, and they replaced the tires with the tubeless version of the Continental GP5000 and said that the issue probably wouldn't have happened if I'd had proper tubeless tires on the bike.Luckily the only thing that came of this was some curse words while I was on the side of the road and some sealant leaking onto my shoes, but I feel like this could have ended pretty badly if I'd lost control of the bike. Part of this comes down to me not doing my due diligence as far as my own bike setup goes, but I also feel like I should have walked out with the proper tires for the setup in the first place. It's a shame that this happened because I've otherwise had very lovely experiences here.Original review: Very helpful employees! Helped me with my front derailleur when it was shifting oddly. Will definitely be back!

The service was great! Bought a brand new bike and before I walked out the door they gave it a once over to make sure everything was good on the bike. While I waited they even gave me a cold beer!

Look I know everyone loves this place but I'm on a very tight budget so after buying a bike second hand I brought it in to have them look at it. Well one of my spokes was loose and couldn't afford to pay for it and the service fee. So I just bought the spoke thinking I could replace it myself. I didn't know I'd need a dedicated spoke wrench. All I needed was to use one of there's for 2 seconds and they flat refused me. And I'm not trying to be cheap I literally have 7 dollars to my name. All I'm saying is a little compassion would be nice.I can't respond so I'm editing my original review. Is that a joke? I've only ever been in your store 3 times. And I have definitely never drank any of your beer. I really hope you have me confused with someone else. Otherwise, your either straight up lying or you're just a prick trying to be funny. I mean seriously, you're a business owner...

A great bike shop that came through when I was in a pinch and needed to replace my inner tube! I had also purchased a seat while I was getting my tube replaced, I will say that the accessories are a bit pricey which is the only reason why I'm giving it four stars. I feel that their service prices are a little bit on the higher end compared to other shops as well. I don't know if they get any sort of commission from selling, but he had a really good pitch about this particular seat and I needed something more comfortable so I bought it! Unfortunately my bike along with my new seat got stolen a couple months later, so there goes my investment, but overall everybody was incredibly friendly and informative about what I could do with my ongoing nail in the tire situation.

I have been a customer of Blue Line for 7-8 years now and their dedication to customer service still amazes me at times. I purchased a high-end bike from them almost 3 years ago and have had a few warranty issues with the bike (OEM issues, not BL). Throughout all of the dealings with the OEM, Blue Line has been extremely supportive and always works as an advocate for me as the end user as opposed to holding a firm line on the manufacturer's warranty.Recently there was an issue with the frame of my bike that required replacement. The bike carries a 2-year warranty, and the bike is 2 years and 9 months old. Fred truly went to bat for me with the OEM and got them to replace the frame under the warranty, in spite of being 9 months past the covered period. The warranty clearly states that the end user is responsible for labor and non-warranty related parts needed (I wanted new shifter & dropper cables). In spite of the clearly stated warranty, BL insisted on covering the labor for the frame swap and even installed new cables at no charge. This is not the first time Fred and his team have gone above and beyond what is required or expected to take care of me as a customer. Besides all of this, Fred has put together a shop that has a great atmosphere and is just a cool place to hang and talk about bikes. I highly recommend you check them out!
