The only reason I gave 2 stars was because this store had what I was looking for. The staff was barley civil and was not interested. This is not the first time I’ve had this problem at this store. I will not return!

Very cold and unhelpful staff. Good hair products layout though. Strong variety with upscale brands representation. Price isn’t competitive compared to the brands’ online offerings

Terrible customer service. Treat you awful and also.. almost every tester is beyond expired. Jo Malone testers expired in 2016. La Mer expired in 2015. Moroccan hair care was so old it was separated.

Terrible service, today was my second time to this location, I live in Austin. I usually purchase in Austin. I love Bluemercury and I am a loyal customer since 2009. This location at Rice university gave me terrible service for the second time. The sales lady was not very nice to me and was very arrogantly. Finally I gave up and left the store. I went to another location at Voss street in Houston. They gave me the picture I uploaded, 2 things combined with 20%off. This store the lady made me feel very stupid. The other store makes things easy. I feel discriminated against.

I recently came to this store for the first time. Honestly, some of the worst customer service that I have seen. It was fine for the first, say, 2 seconds. I began browsing and one of the ladies working there immediately began pushing to 'assist' me in this experience. I politely refused but it seemed she could not care less. I felt a great deal of pressure and went along with it. After that, she asked about my skin type. And, as I answered, she interrupted me multiple times. By now, I already wanted to leave. Then she asked me what I wanted. But, oh dear, her tone. I felt as if she was talking down to me. It seemed as if, to her, that I was no more valuable than a lump of coal. She pointed out skin 'concerns' on my face that are caused by sheer sensitivity. I only wanted to address what I stated. Then she went and got 3 products that she didn't show me. And proceeded to put them in samples. That was kind, I would like to admit. But she never let me pay or see the products. I asked a couple of simple questions and, once again, her tone was rude. This was horrible. I don't plan on returning.

Ladies who work there are giving off vibes. Must be the write bourgeoisie clientele they are used to. Like all Blue mercury locations, they have a good collection of products. Bought some of the aqua di Parma med fragrances - nice line.

I’ve been to a lot of dermatologist looking for help to clear my acne & none have been able to help me. I went to Bluemercury & I met Mia she is the nicest and has helped me more than anyone else that I have consulted. If you go I suggest you ask for Mia & she will be able to help you and get the best results! ✨

I love the products this store carries and have exclusively shopped here for my skincare needs. As many times as I've come in, the sales people just seem so uninterested and bored for the most part. I think I'll switch to online orders unless I need to test a product in store.

The most unhelpful, disinterested sales people ever! I walked in looking for help with eyeshadow. I asked about matte versus cream formulas for my mature skin. Literally zero help. Sales woman said "Well I think all the colors are pretty". Then told me that if my application technique isn't good, it won't look good. Never offered to help me test out shades, demonstrate proper technique etc. I've purchased La Mer from here many times, but never again will I shop in this location. Just absurd.

First timer here (though I already know and love most of the brands). I consulted with a very knowledgable female employee (I feel like a complete a j*** for not asking her name; my receipt says "Holiday S" if that's helpful) on hair products and eye patches. Her recommendations were spot on along with the freebie trials she threw in. I can tell that she took into consideration the few things I mentioned in our short dialogue. I really appreciate her attention to detail and product knowledge. Additionally, the store was very clean, well stocked, and beautifully organized.Signed, OCD
