Business practices of corporate and stores are shady. Went into the store and they couldn't provide me with a SIM card replacement unless they charged $35 to put it in. Why are they charging to put in their own SIM card? Seemed sketchy.Frustrated, I decided to switch carriers so I called customer service to get my account number and it redirected me to the web site. The company website does not contain the account numbers not even in the billing history. I googled it and for boost mobile you have to call customer support to get the number. I called customer support and they checked all my security questions, pin, favorite phone numbers to call, etc. and then told me that they don't have this information and have to transfer me to the account services department. I was on hold for another 50 min. at this point working on this for almost 3 hours. Finally reached someone who was authorized to give me my own account number. Of course, if you are switching your carrier you need your account number - hmm wonder why they make it so hard. If you are willing (or desperate enough) to go through a 1/2 day of messing with customer service to get any service then this is the carrier for you.

The guy was really nice but business practices were shady. I bought a Samsung Galaxy 22 at this location. I asked him if it was in stock and he told me it was. AFTER paying for my new phone, I had to stand outside and wait 30 minutes for him to go get it from somewhere else. When he brought me the phone, I thought everything was fine, but I quickly started having issues. The charger fell apart first. Then the phone started cutting off at 10% battery even in power saver mode. (Bad battery) Apps don't function correctly. The phone seizes up entirely at times. Calls and texts don't always come through. I later realized that there was no user manual in my box. Somthing standard for all new phones. Worst purchase I've ever made. 7 day return policy. I will never purchase a phone from a boost mobile store again. Only buy online. When I called boost mobile they told me they ARE NOT AFFILIATED with these stores. BEWARE.

Boost Mobile acquired our phone service from Virgin Mobile. We had VM since mid-aughts and, given our elder status, had minimal phone and text needs. Our semi-rural area was ill-served by all carriers. Boost just informed us unwilling acquired VM customers that our phone service needed to be changed because network changing - our service would be lost. I was told my Luddite 83 year old partner's flip phone would not be upgraded and would stop working. So I reluctantly worked via chat with Boost to install new SIM card in my iPhone 7 (hey, we're old, upgrades are unnecessary when death is near). The SIM card was defective. I worked all afternoon yesterday with Boost on a poorly manufactured SIM card that never properly separated from cardboard on which it was imbedded. Many tries, all producing "no sim" message, Now I'm isolated from medical care for that fragile disabled 83 yea old. Boost cut off our access to the medical resources he needs. Since I first wrote this, i found that Boost permitted my cell number to be co-opted by unknown entities, using my cell number to place majority of calls to bizarre unidentifiable numbers documented on Boost webpage talk history for my cell, including AFTER BOOST UPGRADE DISABLED MY CELL. This has gone on for lengthy period according to Boost documentation of my talk history. My cell would not update last Saturday because Boost allowed my cell phone number to be co-opted by unidentified party for possible illicit purposes. I've reported possible diversion of my cell number for drug transactions (Boost is cell service of choice for drug dealers according to sources) to DEA, DOJ, and I will continue to pursue reclamation of my identity currently improperly linked by Boost with illicit activities.

boost mobile is the worse cellphone company there is they do deceptive trade practices and try to avoid doing the right thing for their customers if I had the money I would switch right now. Please believe me if you have boost mobile you is not doing yourself any good.
