A nice and beautiful cowboy accessories store. With a nice selection.Personally, I like that the design is technically much more modern and open and brighter than Cavenderes. It's a very nice change. They also have a nice selection of cowboy accessories with many products being different in color or shape than other stores.

The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is for the 3 people that showed respect and helped with my purchase. Other than that Blanca is the reason this store isn’t receiving 5 stars. I really hope corporate does something about it. As I’ve seen in the last couple reviews her name is brought up.When asking a question about hat that is not cheap I expect people to be happy to answer all there questions. I clearly did my research on this hat before asking stupid questions.I purchase my hat yesterday 11/13/23. Was super excited to bring it home and finally have a black color in my rotation. When I took it out I realize the ribbon came off and was loose and leaving glue stains behind. I looked up with style purchase to make sure that was the original style. But all the photos I seen had a felt belt with a buckle around it. I took it back to the store and asked first young lady if it was supposed to be like that. She acknowledged probably not and that she could exchange it and order a new hat. As she was in the process Blanca came up to us and said that it was supposed to like that…and if I wanted a different belt, I can just purchase another hat belt from them. Why would I spend an additional $40 when the hat is $250+…I’ve already looked at the other hats that were the same exact style that did not have a ribbon. But yet she was stern on telling me that it was suppose to be like. I asked them to look it up and prove me wrong. If I’m wrong I’ll walk out the store and leave it like that and I’ll apologize. BUT after 5 mins of them looking through the internet Blanca realize I was right and without saying anything…she walked over the hat wall pulled a belt off a display hat and put it on my hat and THREW it back box like she was upset she was wrong. No apology, no explanation.Now when I asked who can reshape the hat..I would prefer Kevin (I believe that’s his name the store manager) she told me that he would not be able too since he has corporate coming in and he’s going to be busy and that he’s not even allowed to shape hats. What a joke.

Seeing other people comment similar things ranging from terrible customer service or about being followed and racially profiled while shopping is not surprising , not one bit. I have had a similar case with a person whom went by the name blanca, not sure if that is even her real name. Boot barn needs to switch staff or managers because this is outrageous im not even sure how they have a 3.3 rating with their terrible customer service. POC should shop somewhere else if they do not want to be racially profiled or even disrespected, take your money over to local western wear shops instead. All i can do is hope my email to corporate was seen.

Today 9/21/23 I visited boot barn in Houston, TX off 290 and was racially profiled by Liliana a sale ICS and Jennifer the ASM. As I was shopping because there supposedly were other black people in the store shop lifting I was being harassed while shopping because they assumed I was with the supposed other black customers. Liliana got on her mic and began to tell the rest of the employees what I had and where I was then the ASM Jennifer started charging at me. I began to walk to the front of the store where the only nice and helpful employee Blanca was. As I was shopping to begin with there was no one around offering assistance to the point where I had to use the metal pole used to grab items from up high to get my own shorts down. Once I gathered my thoughts and calmed my emotions I asked Jennifer who she was and if she was a manger. When I explained to her what happened to me and how it made me uncomfortable she wasn't sympathetic at all she just said I got caught in the cross fire basically because I was black like the supposed shop lifters. This is the first time this has happened to me in my like and was completely unacceptable and I will NEVER shop at this location again!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered boots that never shipped. Instead, they have cancelled my order a total of (3) times, charging my bank account (3) times. I had to report these charges to my bank and fortunately they are aware of this common issue with Boot Barn so there was no struggle.Don't make the mistake I made, read all the reviews describing this same exact thing.

Kevin here was very helpful and courteous. Alex at the Cypress location called ahead for me and had my boots put aside for me. They were able to process my company work boot voucher quickly.

This happened a couple months ago around January, i decided to leave this review just now because this shouldn’t go unnoticed and after some convincing of a friend. I came in to browse with family and remembered of an item i saw online so i wanted help to find it so i went up to a lady who i assume is the manager. I spoke to her in spanish asking if they had that item and she dismissed me and told me they dont speak Spanish so then i asked in English repeating myself and she told me IN SPANISH to basically leave her alone and she didn’t have any time for me. I was appalled as I’ve never been treated this way at all in any other stores. To describe her She was an older lady, kinda short and wearing her hair up. I assume she is a manager since she was standing around doing nothing while other employees did. Her name started with B but thats all i remember. If she is a manager shame on you. This review was long overdue and i should’ve left it the exact day It happened.

I told my friends I was going to boot barn and they warned me that I might not have the best experience with the manager and I decided to go anyways. When I got to the store I was exploring but I quickly found out that I should have listened. The teenage employees were really nice and helpful but the manager gave off a really bad vibe and she was making me feel uncomfortable throughout the whole store.
