Do not I repeat do not prepay for a car rental from budget/avis. Do not prepay trying to do the right thing. Reserved a car for 10 days due to repair shop telling me it would be that long only ended up being 3 days. Inquired about returning car early was told would be fine and only billed for use. They brushed me off to corporate after I was billed. Long story short they lied, I was billed for 10 days and not the 3 days of use. My fault for trying to do the right thing. Will never rent from.Budget/Avis again. Lesson learned

Horrible experience, I prepaid for a rental car for my wife to pick up at 8 am because she was pressed for time. She went there expecting to get the car no problem. They said they need a deposit, still not a problem but for some reason the deposit has to come from same card you used to book. Of course she doesn't have and I'm out of town. So they have to cancel original rsvp issue refund (takes 4-5 business days) and make new rsvp. So in turn we would be out full rental amount x's 2 and deposit for the next 4-5 business days which we could not do. 1 hour later my wife left with no car and out of pocket full rental amount and very upset. I guess at Budget there is no way to prepay a rental car for someone else (children, spouse family, etc..) unless you are physically there with the credit card you use. Why can't we just prepay for everything at once?? Don't understand

They seemed nice and offered a great deal on the car... But after I returned it, they charged me a $230 cleaning fee.They didn't say anything to me, and when I called to complain, they claimed they couldn't do anything about it since it was more than 2 days later.I called the 800 number for the company; they gave me an automatic refund since there was no documentation of the claim.

mileage for a multi day road trip. Apparently, the location ran out and put me in a 4x4 vehicle with 19 mpg I also pre paid and returned car early (1.5 days). I received no refund. I had to clean the vehicle before returning to avoid charges and I received the vehicle with dog hair and no floor matts.

Competitive rates, convenient neighborhood location and fast service. Small location and may have limited number of vehicles. Did not see a Corolla in the lot which is what I reserved. The staff was happy to went to the back to get one. Great service!

I rented a budget vehicle on Jones Road in the Steeple Chase area over the Memorial Day weekend to go out of town to my love ones burial service and first of all the vehicle wasn’t clean the guy took it to the back washed it off a little brought it back didn’t do much to it at all I didn’t bother to say anything else I just left with the vehicle I had a headache the whole time driving out of town due to the smell of the fragrance they put inside of the vehicle the service at budget have really went down and it continues to go down every time the customer service used to be excellent but now it’s very poor there’s always something wrong with their vehicles the last time I rented a vehicle I had to exchange it out when I arrived out of town because of mechanical issues they should not put fragrance in every vehicle due to health issues unless it’s new car smell or something unsent it’s something that’s not to loud that people with breathing conditions can tolerate the vehicle didn’t drive well at all doesn’t handle good on the freeway it actually needed new tires

James is always very helpful, there was a mix up with my reservation when I called to extend it a few months back using the 800 number which was a headache, some of the reps were hard to understand and had a hard time understanding me. I understand the savings In outsourcing jobs to different countries, but sometimes you have to pay a little more to make sure your customers are provided with the best customer service experience. I drove home to visit, while at home my sister passed away so I had to extend my reservation, when I returned the vehicle I explained to James that I called and exactly what happened and he corrected everything. Thank you so much for your compassion and great customer service. I have always had a pleasant experience with all of the employees everyone is nice and service is great, I’m always in and out!

Three things:1. You have to have the same person on the driver's license as on the payment credit card.2. $200 is automatically added to every rental price when it's time to pay.3. Only major bank credit cards accepted.They will not tell you any of this as you are reserving the vehicle online.

Fighting a claim with a windshield that said it was my damage. When I told the agent it was already there before renting , noted on copy . 3 months after . I get charged on my credit card.

Very professional appearance of manager. Cheerfully accepted my return. I forgot to get my mileage and I parked in the neighboring business lot-both errors the manager remedied and won my return business.

This location rented me a dangerous car. The location said sorry can’t do anything about. I didn’t understand why he couldn’t do anything about it but I guess he don’t care and I understand that it is not his life & kids that are being put in danger so why would he care to do anything about it. Just look at the pictures. Front two tires (This happen 8/21)Update: 8/23 called Customer Service give me 3 free rental days.Update: 8/26 District manager email me informed me he will refund me in full. ?
