Budget is the absolute worst, from customer service to the online department. I rented a car on Christmas Eve and due to the location being closed and it not having an after hour box I couldn’t drop it off. They charged me double of everything and said to call customer service. Customer stated it was my job to call them on Christmas Day to leave a note saying I couldn’t drop the truck off, if I would’ve called them in India, to leave that note, I would’ve been ok. What type of horse dung is that?? Absolute worst company.

Kirby is the worst location. The African guy is always rude and argumentative. Everytime I make a reservation online they never honor it in store. Even after speaking to customer service. Go to the westheimer location the manager is always nice.

Salesperson named “Ola” tried to overcharge my prepaid rental. He was rude and argued with us. Refused to give receipts or sign to validate return. Do not recommend Kirby location for this reason.

Horrible experience! I reserved a suburban for a work trip to Dallas. They contacted me on the morning of at 7:25 am. for a 7:30 am. reservation to tell me they didn't have the vehicle. They had to call around to locate a vehicle and transport it to the location. It took 1.25 hours to get the vehicle. This was for a work trip to Dallas. My entire team and I had to waste 1.25 hours waiting on a vehicle out of what was already an incredibly packed work trip. We arrived late and had to make numerous adjustments because of their incompetence, lack of planning and complete disregard for their customers. I'll never use this rental car agency again. If your trip is important, have a plan B!

1. car interiors are not clean, not even close.2. cars are not well maintained. got a tire with a hole had to keep filling it up every morning. they keep renting out the car even though they know it has a bad tire. went back there to get another car, also had a bad tire, completely flat next morning.3. dishonest - second time I went, they wanted to give me same car with bad tire, said technician came and fixed it, but I saw them putting air in it the very next morning.4. selection is terrible.

Hi,1. The car was not clean. A lot dust was in the interior.2. The GPS did not work properly.It was once difficult to find a GPS. Once found, the 2 GPS that were presented to me were not charged (and for a very long time). We had to wait at least 5 minutes before one of the two GPS works more or less well. The second one was turning off anyway after 10 seconds. In addition it had no way to fix it to the support to be able to drive safely. The one I received took at least 5 good minutes to work more or less properly. The battery of this device was completely ruined so that it turned off at least once every morning before it could be used properly. Of course, it was still plugged in... Moreover, it is an old category GPS, not very precise and not very fast. All this made me waste a lot of time every day in my program.I do not find it professional and correct for a service that I am paying for.3. Otherwise the car was running fine.

The car I was given was filthy! When I complained about the condition of the vehicle, the young man said it came like that from the airport. What does that have to do with anything? I asked for another vehicle but he said they didn’t have any available. The customer service was poor and I world not recommend renting from this location.

Everything worked out perfectly. Our rental was ready when we to there. We had a Nissan Rogue. It was very clean and spacious for the two of us. We were renting for a one way trip out of state. Hand off went smoothly. Will defiantly use this company again in the future if needed.

They were wonderful! My car flooded and I was able to make a reservation that night and picked it up the next morning. AND! They upgraded me! The customer service was excellent! He took the time to show me all the additional features that I wasn't used to considering my car is about 8 years old. Highly recommend!

The Budget location at 6935 Kirby, Houston Texas is amazing. I was in and out when I picked up the rental and when I returned it. The cars and SUVs are always amazing. The staff are always courteous and respectful. I booked with my debit card by accident, and they allowed me to switch to a credit card when I went to pick up the rental. I love this location. I will be back.❤

Be careful of this company for foreign rentals (ie Europe)..you will check out and return car and they will send you a month later a letter indicating that you have multiple parking tickets..Including 4 in one day same amount..ironically car was parked only in one location for the day and never moved..I got the charges on my credit card and when you can Avis/budget they can't tell you the details of the tickets (ie where, when, etc.) it is a scam for foreign rentals..be careful when you leave the desk and return car you should advise credit card company to block any further chargers from them on to your card until they can provide detailed proof you Owen them money for stuff

There was only one guy working here during my visit but he was so nice! He acknowledged people coming in and waiting. He would tell you who is first and what you're waiting for. (I have very low expectations for people working at car rentals though....) I rented a car at this location. It's like a small trailer in a small lot with several cars. If you're looking for upgrades, chances here are slim. The car I got was what I had reserved, but I didn't feel safe driving it away. The guy said I could wait for him to help other customers, or I go to another location and switch out the car. I went to two more locations before another car was available. Took me like 1.5 hours. I guess Budget holds a $200 deposit so you need a credit card and ID.
