0 star review for terrible service. The manager we dealt with was Marika granger, And the employees who were unprofessional and disrespectful, were Marquis And Keisha. Terrible customer service. Marquis gave us a car without a key and rolled his eyes at us when we asked where the car was. Budget Switched cars and then kept our items in their locked car! Our items were locked for hours, and when I kept asking for help, I was told to wait without help. She said she will cancel the contract because of the complaintShe cancelled the contract and we were left with no car and our items still stolen. I have still not received a refund! The Manager made us wait in line for help. While our stuff was locked in the budget rentalMarquis threatened me when he pulled me aside and told me that if my husband doesn't stop complaining that they're going to cancel my reservation as retaliation. Management saw this and did nothing except insult us more, and then cancel my car rental.

Very bad all around. Quote one price then completely change the price once you arrive then they charge a no show fee because you refused to pay 3x the original quote at the counter. Avoid at all costs!

Honestly, I am just doing this review in hopes to talk to a human employee at Budget. I tried to extend my rental time online and was directed to a customer service number. So, before I would be stuck on the phone for so long, I tried the Budget app, put in my Fastbreak number and still could not get passed the confirmation screen that said "confirm". So, I called the direct number to the Houston Airport Budget rental and just got transferred to various people who read off a script and the minute I started to share my concerns, was placed on hold for another agent. If anyone actually monitors these reviews. I just want a call back and a number to speak to someone who is willing to help me. So sad how down hill customer service has become with these corporate companies.

Similar to other reviews, did not warn before charging an extra $200 for a late fee. No matter how late you are, the charge is for an extra 24 hours, but she would not return the key even though I've now paid for the time. She said management tells her not to say anything until after the car is returned and ticket closed out, which is belligerently misleading and considered theft.

The worst. Do not attempt to rent from these people. On a Saturday evening, I reserved a truck for the following Thursday. On the Wednesday afternoon, they called me to say they had not one truck on the lot and I should call their 800 number to get re-directed to another lot where they would presumably have one. Unfortunately, I didn't get the message until about five hours later. At that point, I was told that I would have to speak with the area inventory manager, and he would get in touch with me by 10 am the next day--that is 10 am on the day I was supposed to be moving about finding out where in a 25 mile or more radius I would be willing to go to pick up a truck. These people suck.

We had a great experience working with the Budget Team. As a moving company we use there trucks often. Rent-A-Mover in Houston. 5 star service.

Horrible customer service. Lady at the front desk was not friendly at all. Trash inside the rental truck. Difficult trying to get in contact with someone, in regards to a billing concern. Extremely dissatisfied with our experience.

Called 25 times in less than an hour to confirm reservation an n be request pick up. Gave up and cancelled reservation.Were the phones stuck by lightning? Is everyone ok and will the location be closed permanently?

We broke down twice sat on the side of the road for 4 hours hours both times waiting on their tech to come out. Finally had to come get another truck to unload a truck full of big stuff into another. What a nightmare! I would have rated this 1 but Denise was very friendly and worked with us on overages due to having to have the truck longer than originally planned.

Rented a 16ft truck for 6 days @ $260. Can't beat it.
