Such natural beauty in the middle of the city. My dog loves to squirrel watch, even though she has squirrels at home! There are lots of shady spots and benches to take a break.

Spent the day at this wonderful park, exploring the bayou, nature, walking trails, monuments, and art. What a delightful nature escape just steps from the hustle and bustle of downtown Houston. Vibe was very healthy and relaxing, most people like me getting some exercise while others relaxing in the sun. What a treat!

Incredible views, great trail with a smooth concrete surface and wide enough for many users!
Founded in 1986, Buffalo Bayou Partnership’s (BBP) geographic focus is the 10-mile stretch of Buffalo Bayou from Shepherd Drive to the Port of Houston Turning Basin. Thanks to the generous support of foundations, corporations, individuals and government agencies, BBP has raised and leveraged more than $150 million for the redevelopment and stewardship of the waterfront – spearheading award-winning projects such as Sabine Promenade and Sesquicentennial Park, protecting land for future parks, constructing hike and bike trails, and operating comprehensive clean-up and maintenance programs. BBP recently completed the $58 million Buffalo Bayou Park project that includes major destinations, natural landscaping, footpaths and trail lighting.
