so, a year or so ago, i had my 2008 tsx flat bed in to their shop for having no pressure on clutch pedal. i told the honest looking and courteous gentleman who answers phones and handling customers at lobby… I asked and told him specifically that i most likely just need slave and mazter clutch cylinder replaced. He told me since the. car 180k miles or so, they will do their check first. so i left. the next morning, this gentleman called me and said that they have thoroughly check the car, and i DO need a new clutch and itll be $2500. this was my wife’s only car, so i let them work on the car. so they did. $2500 later, i still got no pressure on the clutch pedal. asked the “nice gentleman”, he assured me thats how new clutch feels like in a new acura. (the whole conversations to me as a $2500 paying client was very brief, like they had no time for you)….My wife drove the car two weeks, before it actually wont engage in gear anymore, and stranded. flat bed the car home, and somehow i managed to actually drove it back to the burden next day without having to flat bed it, had to stay on 1st gear the whole time…talked to only that same gentleman at the lobby, told him ONE MORE time, to have TheM to check my master/slave cylinder , with asserting a lil disappointment look, and left.the next day the same gentleman expert called me , and this time he said “ yes , we replaced the master/slave at no cost to you this time, and the car is now fixed!” the clutch pedal do feel like back to pressured normal at this time.n im out $2500 for what im sure i didnt need.. the clutch master and slave cylinder available at auto parts for less than $200,they chose to hustle me who was vulnerable with broken car..i waited more than a year just in case i needed to go back there for any warranty job. stay away!i was victim of good google ratings…or maybe they did it to me just because my person…..?? you tell me.

I have been a customer of Burden auto for over 15 years with both Honda and Acura. Brian and his staff are the most honest I have ever encountered and recommend them highly.

My dad recommended this auto care place due to them also servicing Lexus and Toyota vehicles. In the past I usually go to Toyota dealerships for service but I am reconsidering going here for all of my future Toyota needs. You do have go call to make an appointment, when I arrived the front desk personnel was not able to find my appointment recorded on her documents, however they are very nice and was able to check my car for what is needed for servicing. My brakes were squeaking and they said they did not have my brake pads in stock, were able to order them and received them next day. He also mentioned that he didn't feel comfortable to install off market pads on my vehicle. The seating area is clean and tidy, they have a coffee machine, water cooler, and a vending machine for sodas if you desire. The service is great, the prices are extremely reasonable. I will return for future vehicle needs.

I highly recommend Burden Auto Care as excellent automotive mechanics for your Honda, Acura, Toyota or Lexus vehicles. I’ve been a loyal customer for seven years.Bryan Burden runs a very honest repair business. The mechanics will tell you if something needs to be replaced. If I could continue driving the car without making the repair, they would advise me to wait and see. For example, my 2008 Accord wouldn’t start sometimes when I turned the key. Bryan advised that I needed to turn the key back and forth a few times to overcome the issue (fuel pump) before turning the ignition all the way. Bryan was right, and I didn’t have to make the repair. Honesty and integrity are their core values, which goes a long way, in any business, towards establishing long-term customer loyalty.Back in 2017, I found Burden Auto Care by reading the reviews of Honda mechanics near me. My 2008 Honda Accord wouldn’t start and I needed to tow it to a nearby Honda repair shop. Burden Honda had very good reviews from their customers. When I met Bryan Burden, he was very straight forward with me about why he started the company and how he ran his business. To Bryan, the business is more than just repairing cars to him. Bryan genuinely likes helping people and it shows in how Burden Auto Care treats their customers. Tim Swafford joined the business in 2020 as a business partner. Tim also has a great personality and has been very helpful to me over the last four years.Burden Auto Care installed a new starter in my 2008 Accord and I became a long-term customer. Between June 2017 (174,477 miles on the odometer) to June 2021 (248,299 miles on the odometer), Burden serviced my Accord with the following repairs: new front axil, new radiator, new power steering, new alternator, new trunk spring, 2 new VTEC solenoids, new sway bars, new A/C compressor, resurfaced rotors and new brake pads. The more miles one puts on a car, the more likely these types of repairs need to be done. Burden always diagnosed the issue with the correct repair. They know how to repair Hondas and Acuras.Burden kept my car running mechanically sound up until June 2021, when I totaled the Accord in Elgin, Texas. I purchased a Lexus in July 2021 to replace the Accord. Unfortunately, Burden only works on Honda and Acura models. I was super disappointed that I might lose my mechanics. I called Burden and spoke with Tim, and asked if they would work on my Lexus, since I had been a long-term customer. Tim gave me some great news when he told me that they hired Stan – a Toyota and Lexus mechanic. I didn’t have to find new mechanics. Now, Burden works on Honda, Acura, Toyota, and Lexus models. My girlfriend has been taking her 2014 Honda Accord there for the last two and half years. She is also very happy with Burden Auto Care.Burden continues to be my go to when it comes to service and repairs on my Lexus. The owners and employees are very honest and treat their customers like family. It’s a good feeling to know that I’m being given good advice. Burden really cares about their customers and are in it for the long-term. Honest, friendly, very professional, and extremely knowledgeable about diagnosing mechanical repairs on cars. Their pricing is also very reasonable and fair. The waiting area is very comfortable and clean (and so is the bathroom). And it’s always good to see Bryan and Tim, when I stop by for an oil change.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

Bryan Burden started this business with his wife Lisa in 1999. I love that his facility focuses on specific make of cars ~ Honda, Acura and soon full service on Toyota and Lexus. I have always trusted him to be honest & fair for the last 14+ years I have known him & I have taken my car to him. He is extremely knowledgeable and in speaking with him you know he is genuine. Feel confident your car is in the best hands w/Bryan Burden.

My husband and I have been going to Burden since we moved to Houston in 2006. They service Honda's, Acura's and Toyotas. We haven't and wouldn't go anywhere else. We couldn't praise Bryan and Tim, owners, more. Superb service, customer service and could keep on. How much time do you have? Very reasonable prices on their excellent work.

For most items he's charging close to dealership price sometimes even more. His store is more of a convenience when there's longer wait times at dealer. Not that he's doing bad work, but don't make the mistake I did assuming cheaper

I love everything about Burden from the first time I took my Honda about 20 years ago! Everyone is super nice from the time you arrive to the time you leave. They make sure that your car is properly serviced and that you are satisfied! Thank you, Burden Auto Care!

My Fiancé has used them for a long time. I questioned them because of their prices. They are more expensive than most shops and I had to tell them what was wrong with our A/C because they couldn’t diagnose it correctly. They over filled the compressor and it messed up the seals. I took it to my guy and the cost of them to replace a hose and the compressor was less than what Burden would charge just for the compressor. I even got a warranty. They will overcharge for their services. Be sure to shop around before taking to them. I think because my Fiancé being Female they took advantage of the situation. I do not trust them and won’t be back.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement
