There is no store brand seasoning for sale which was also a surprise. All in all I’d probably just return to the Lake Charles location for future purchases. This store is basically an outlet with no character or warm boudin balls to enjoy.”

Easily the best bang for your buck breakfast / all day tacos you will find in a 35 mi radius, I always forget this and order 2 but only eat one for breakfast and the other for lunch - and I'm borderline too full at each meal. Everyone is super friendly and the ladies who cook the food know what they are doing. Best carniceria in Das Zweiter in my book - and did i say the staff is fantastically friendly.”

“I came for the chicharrónes since my usual spot hadn't made them for today. The people behind the meat counter were friendly and helpful as well as Steve, Carlos and Sara. I was imprimpressed with their friendliness and service. They also cook the chicharrones every day, which is a plus since I like them "fresh", not day old. As an anglo, I was happy that they would let me try and speak my broken Spanish as that is the only way you can learn. I give them 5 stars”

“The place was sogood, the food it self was perfect they have a whole plate for 10 dollars n they fill it up, this has been the first la michoacana that are not cheap with there food, it was worth the 10 dollars. The plate it self can feed two people. N they have great sales on beverages n chips. They need more friendly people like the ones they have here. Thank you much n I will be coming back. There was no answer & no voicemail during my attempts to have someone answer. The reason for my call was to inquire about a certain pastery. It would have been nice to speak to an employee. Backing is simple and easy. There is a store on the end of building near entrance where you can buy some Mexican food/groceries.”

“I wanted to take my mom to a great little taco spot. They did not disappoint. I just pulled in here, knowing they would be good. It was the best quesadilla i have ever had. They didn't cut it. It was a two-handed sack of fajita beef and cheese. We were on the way to a concert, so we ate it on the way in the car...just passing it back and forth. I saved a couple of bites to give to a friend. The bites did not make it.”
