Worst customer service, I made an order 10.28.23 & shows my package was delivered I tried calling multiple times & customer service did not help with my situation, I asked for pod & they would just say, I was still not get a refund! Never buying here again!

I have been shopping at this store for nearly a decade, and it is generally a pleasant experience. In recent years, however, the quality of the experience has declined noticeably. I have started to avoid it. I do appreciate that they have started to carry many more ethically-minded brands. Please keep that up!For the most part, I can count on the staff at the Galleria Nordstrom being courteous, helpful and not pushy. The return policy was always flexible, though I did not use it often. They carry a great selection of clothing, shoes and beauty items. Recently, however, the selection has clearly been aimed at trends at the expense of stocking classic items alongside them. I can no longer stop in and count on certain items being there. This would not be a huge deal if their online inventory were accurate. I recently came in after ensuring that a specific item was in stock. It was not. Then I was subjected to an annoyingly hard sell for other items by not one but two employees in beauty and fragrance. I politely declined and opted to browse instead. One of the employees came up behind me to push an unsolicited fragrance sample in my face. It was alarming, disrespectful and the first time ever someone at this Nordstrom has been even remotely discourteous. I had to politely decline and leave to another area to escape the pressure sales tactics. On my way to look at jewelry, I believe I came to understand why things had changed. A manager(?) was giving an aggressive 'pep talk' to some members of staff nearby telling them to basically step things up in selling in a more serious way. There was nothing motivating in what I overheard. The tone felt like 'Sell or else!'Wow, the amazing employees who had previously wrapped gifts for us and given thoughtful advice that motivated me to return for years were being treated this way? I cannot support a business moving in this direction.I realize that revenue and trends are important but service is everything. Please do not ruin a good thing for short-term monetary gains. Some folks want to support a business over the longer term but will not do it if the quality is not there.

I walked into the sunglasses section at the Nordstrom Houston Galleria and was helped by Shayla S. I was probably her first customer that day and WOW she was so unbelievably helpful and sweet. I'll be back to see her for sure. It's really nice to get that kind of customer service.

I have shopped at Nordstrom in the Houston Galleria for years, but after yesterday I am rethinking Nordstrom. I was there for an hour trying on clothing and it was so hot and uncomfortable in the dressing room that the salesperson had to go get water for me. There are many other stores in the Galleria where I can shop comfortably. And, while I am on a roll, the dress of most employees now makes it difficult to know who works there and who is just shopping. I guess this is the new Nordstrom and if I am going to pay the prices for their clothing, I will move on to other establishments with more professional staff AND temperature-controlled dressing rooms. This is the first year that I have not been an ICON member and there is a reason for that. Nordstrom, what is happening?

Never order from them online, have order several things and for Mother's Day the order date extended pass Mother's Day. Items I'm sure they have at store and I'm having to pick one up and the other ship. Not happy at all, I'm so glad I look it up because it was suppose to be in store today for pickup since I order May 7, now both item perfume( Chanel) shipped n a tote bag Mk (for pickup) are for 5/16 I will have to buy item now and return later!! Mothers Day!! All I got is I give you expedited shipping for next time. There not a next time.

As of now, what happened to Nordstrom and the pickup/ curbside pickup department? Used to be where you put an order in online, and within 4 hours at the latest, you get an alert that it was ready. Now, it takes days AND they'll randomly cancel items with no kind of option or warning. They are losing the very thing people went to their store to experience, quality and convenient service.

Nordstrom is a great store chain but trying to find a person to talk in customer service is a joke! No matter where you look you get directed to an answer machine. Need to change an address, good luck. Need an online account, good luck. Don't waste your time. Now they even try to push other companies products on your bill. Find what you think is a Nordstrom Customer Service Number, no it's for Emergency button push products or DSTV! As a Customer, I'm offended Nordstrom can't put their own number on you bill but rather push other companies products! Where's a Nordstrom Rep when you need them, apparently they don't exist!

In the area on business and shopping for one of our events. The employees in the women's department are very unprofessional and rude. My husband needed to use the rest room and he asked a lady politely if she worked there. Her back was turned towards us because she was waking in the opposite direction. She turns and points to what appears to be a tag as if we were supposed to see it and automatically assume she did. So he asks her where the restrooms are and she basically waved her hand in an over there motion and keeps walking. Same with another employee as again we are not from the area and didn't know the logistics of the mall. We just wanted to find the rest room. After we did we left immediately. We do not patronize places that do not appreciate us as customers. Out of all the stores we shopped in this one and one other had some of the nastiest customer service around.

My all-time favorite department store and the only one I go to! I *love* Nordstrom. They carry everything a lady can need. Clothing, shoes, jewelry, cosmetics, bags, things for the home. And they have TASTEFUL, quality items. I find some other department stores overwhelming b/c they have so many ugly items that you have to sift through in order to find something cute. The buying staff for Nordstrom really know what they're doing! The prices are anywhere from inexpensive to reasonable to expensive - the whole range. They have a great cafe, in case you need to fuel up. And a wonderful spa! The staff I've worked with have consistently been friendly, helpful, stylish, courteous, attentive, and professional. Shopping online usually has free shipping and in-store returns are super fast and easy. (The counter is right by the door. In other stores, they put the counter all the way at the back of the store, so you have to walk through the entire store to get there. No thanks! They have online returns as well, but I've never used that, since the store is so close-by.) I love shopping here! Both online and in person. 5 stars for Nordstrom!

Wow, 4 people ignored me. I can't even call them "salespeople" because they weren't trying to sell anything. They were just standing there talking, scrolling their phones. What has happened to Nordstrom. They used to be the benchmark for excellent customer service. I used to work at the Park Meadows, CO store. In Designer, surrounded by St. John, my manager told me on my first day on the sales floor that we were "just selling rags". That the employees are what set Nordstrom apart from the others. But that was 15+ years ago. Now, apparently all you need is a warm body to get hired. GM couldn't care less, either. Sad.

I've been to Nordstrom several times with my sister. I do enjoy coming to this store simply because they carry luxury items as well as reasonable priced items. They have even started carrying very nice extended sizes. They have everything from purses and shoes to perfume as well as evening wear, pajamas, lingerie, exercise clothing and swim suits. It's quite a pleasant experience to come to Nordstrom but be careful to not get too carried away as you can rack up quite a receipt.

I have never been so uncomfortable in my life. 3/3/21 Coming in we were ready to make a big purchase I come in with my friend and we are looking for something in particular. We ask for assistance and with the most disgusting look in her eye she looks at my friend up and down and says they don't have the product. My friends proceeds to express that he has seen the product at other Nordstrom locations and for some reason this specific store didn't. (regular customer questions) My issue was when we just left it at that and we continue to look around the store and yes I understand keeping an eye on customers in a high dollar item stores is normal but to tell coworkers to keep an eye on him going around is highly inappropriate. My friend and I were very uncomfortable and embarrassed. We left and decided to take our business elsewhere. Im not the type to write reviews but this was just disgusting and horrible service. I understand it's policy, but they definitely need to work on being more discreet about it.
