This place traumatized me so badly that it has taken me 5 years to write a review.
5 years ago, my best friend was dying of cancer. She named me her Power of Attorney so that I could pay her bills because by then, she was tired and confused.
At the time, my daughter was 18 months old. I made an appointment to finalize the POA paperwork, arrived 10 minutes early, only to be told that the person I set the appointment with had gone on his hour long lunch break. At 1 pm -- at the time of the appointment that HE set.
I drove from Bellaire, so I decided to wait. When, after 90 MINUTES (!!) my baby started to get fussy, the manager came out and told me to leave. When I refused, he said "YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE AN APPOINTMENT." Like WHAT IN THE ACTUAL
When I refused to leave without being helped, he actually threatened to call the police. So I said fine, do it.
Only then did I receive service.
It only got worse from there. EVERY time I went in there to get a check to pay her rent, it was an issue. Every time, they told me it's HER account so SHE needs to be there.
Oh I'm sorry, she's LITERALLY DYING. She can't walk and after 20 years of friendship, only recognizes me half the time.
Every time I had to throw a fit. Every time they threatened me. Every time they seemed offended that I dared to have a child.
One time the bank manager actually said to me, "Poor baby, I feel sorry for her!" because I wouldn't just leave without the rent check.
My best friend died after 6 months of this, and while it was devastating, the silver lining is that I don't have to deal with these cruel monsters.
Btw, each time they finally decided to help me, it took about 5 minutes

Customer service is beyond poor. No answers or willing to problem solve. Call customer service is their solution vs taking initiative to help. Have been a Chase client for over 20 years for perspective.

Natalia is the absolute worst bank representative I've ever dealt with. She will not acknowledge you at the drive up window. And if she does, it's to give you a dirty look. I've had to bring 8 business deposits to this bank location, Natalia will short the deposit change back by 2-5 cents for every single deposit, it's definitely intentional and she should not be dealing with the general public.
Alma is always extra friendly, sweet and is the only reason why I will even consider going to this location.

Absolutely the worst bank ever I went in to open a account only to be turned away because they where short staffed and wanted me to make a appointment or open the account online save yourself the trouble and go to the midtown branch where they know the meaning of customer service

The Manager yesterday was a young African American lady i didn't get her name was horrible..... She didn't cash the check i came in to cash from a law firm that Chase does a lot of business with... She didn't call the law firm to clear the check or anything... She flagged my ID without telling me and created a huge problem for me ... Had to spend 2hours this morning at a different branch to get everything resolved.... I will never go to the Chase on Montrose location again... Never have i ever been treated so bad and rude at any bank in my life...

Can't call for questions. You'll be directed to automated service and anytime you press any of those service questions, It will just tell you to go online

worker Refused to accept my temporary ID card. As if it’s not from the state of Texas. They need employees that’s up to date with time. There’s no reason I was denied access to my account and refused an actual reason. This is the worst branch I’ve ever went too. Even despite me verifying my account number, addresses, recent transactions this mf still refused to help me with my account.

This Chase Bank is located in a convenient location on the southeast corner of the intersection of Montrose boulevard and Richmond Avenue. There is a nice drive-through located at the rear of the building. Bank associates are friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff, but they fouled up a wire transfer I requested which delayed an important transaction.

This location seems to have an issue keeping their drive thru machine touchpad working, and don't put a sign or block drive and then you have to wait and wait and wait to get your card back when it finally times out..
