My CHASE mobile app was not working and I couldn’t fill my account number out on my withdrawal form. The bank teller with the dreadlocks immediately told me no as I’m presenting him with my state ID. I express to him I go to CHASE all the time and they assist me with retrieving the account number after proper identity verification. He was absolutely rude and dismissive. Worst CHASE for sure.

I don’t keep an account with chase anymore but not because of any physical location. If you are cashing a Chase personal check from someone else written to you, they will charge you $10. That’s a bit too steep for cashing a check written from your customers, but banks will be banks …

Quick and efficient and only 1.6 miles away from the Montrose 77006 location. I was in and out no more than 5 mins compared to the 20 mins at the other location with no help at all.

DO NOT BANK WITH CHASE THEY WILL CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT, with no given reasoning! They don’t care if u got bills to pay, or the reasoning why they closed your account!

My cousin had his account robbed at this bank before his account was even set up, they let the robber present a fake ID, and the security didn’t catch it. The purp withdrew thousands of dollars before my cousin even got his debit card. He had to find out from a third party credit monitoring app, and chase did NOTHING. They denied his claim and now he has to file a police report. The OCC WILL be hearing about this! PLEASE DONT BANK HERE, YOUR MONEY IS NOT SAFE AND THEY WILL LAUGH AS YOU GET SWINDLED OUT OF YOUR LIFE SAVINGS!

(SCARY) PLEASE READ BEFORE STARTING BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION! Me and my wife recently got married and decided to open a joint checking and savings account together with gifted funds ($2,600) from wedding, opened the account on 05/07/23... eight days later on 05/15/23 there was a fraudulent in-person cash withdrawal of $2,000 at the Montrose location. I assumed it was no big deal, clearly not my signature on withdrawal, I went into the bank when the withdrawal was pending to inform them, and have never filled a fraud claim before (banking since 2007). One month later I was told the claim was DENIED because they used my bank pin, non-activated debit card, and DL to confirm identity. The absolute worst part about the whole situation was I never even received a call from their claim department to even ask what happened or that I was denied... I called the fraud claims department after finding out I was denied and was told "You will have to settle this outside of Chase Bank"... Please take your money to a different banking institution; Very clearly an inside job and you will have non-existent customer service from their claim department. --For Clarification-- Had not even received our "non-activated" debit cards in the mail; nor any paperwork for that matter; Signature on withdrawal form was clearly not mine; And my "DL" was used for "proof of ID" (even though I've had the same one in my wallet since 2019); P.S. - If any any Chase representative replies to this review, that action would be more help than I've received throughout this entire process...

The bank was updated. Private client services and all staff were excellent. No line. Large parking lot. I drive a little longer but this branch takes less time, better customer services, and safer

I had no issues with this Chase Bank. Employees were friendly. My transaction went quickly. They got a huge empty branch. Got me a little worried with this empty space. Could it be that this place will fill up like TSA or they have aerobics class during siesta. They actually have a huge vault. I can't tell if it was a safe deposit box. That's a rare find. The location is kind of awkward. Without my GPS, I wouldn't be able to find it.

The teller with the braids is extremely rude! He gave me information incorrectly twice and was trying to charge me for something I know for a fact its free with the type of account I have. I was asking general questions about getting my money back from the credit card as I got a refund of over 4 thousand dollars and my credit card was already paid and refuse to help. I don't understand why he had such a bad attitude to the point that i had to tell him to deescalate the situation and was not friendly until the manager which end up agreeing with me started to help me yesterday February 11 2023. Its a shame because I live so close to this location but this individual has been rude to me several times now! I will refuse to be serviced by him from now on and will ask for someone else every single time until he learns how to approach customers. Helping us shouldnt have to be hostile specially when the customer is being understandable. Wanted me to recite my bank account like people know every number and legit made me log into the app when I had inserted my debit card and had put my pin. Extremely rude!! Also why are the "good comments" the same several times??? Very suspicious

I have to no idea why customers disparage this Chase Bank on Alameda @ Southmore. It's in a convenient location right off the South Fwy. The lobby is large, clean and well lighted.The teller who assisted me was very friendly and outgoing. Since my daughter is moving in the area, I will be we will be doing some of our banking here.

Terrible customer service and terrible bank policies they won't honor their own checks if you don't have an account after 2 times and they charge a fee to cash their own checks Chase bank is the worst

My GF uses chase. I refuse to go In anymore because of incompetence, employees who just want a paycheck and have zero customer service knowledge and nominal real banking knowledge to any customersI have been in 5 different chase locations in multiple states. It’s pretty much the same negative experience.

Ashley Hernandez is a wonderful bank manager. She is attentive, and follows through with what she says she will do. I think that Ms. Hernandez and the employees that I have met at this location are excellent.
