Store #3181 at 11112 Richmond is a nightmare. I have been there a few times, but I will never go again. I took my 15-year-old to get her Covid vaccine today and they said she wasn’t in the system even though we had a confirmation number for her appointment. Then they demanded her to show ID. They expected my child, who doesn’t have a learner’s permit or driver’s license yet, to show her ID. Then they said what about a social security card. I said I don’t carry that with me and I was not going to go get it. After going round and round for a while stressing that I was not going to leave and go get a social security card and that surely the ID requirement was for the adult accompanying the child and/or the insured adult whose name is on the insurance card, they finally let her get the shot. Meanwhile they let three people who had appointments after hers to get their shots. Ridiculous. I know some vaccine centers aren’t even requiring adults to show ID. Then I stopped at the front on the way out to buy a snack the cashier only had half her mask on. She asked me to come up to the counter and I said I would not until her mask was on properly and to please cover her nose. She did, but as soon as I left the counter her mask was off her nose. It’s a pharmacy. Where sick people go all the time and is somewhere that supports health care. I feel like this is really unacceptable, especially because they are still asking customers to wear masks.

BIG RACIST VIBES from the employees at this store even with a "black" manager ZACH. Rude and seemed agitated that I was trying to get cash back, hit me with a "store policy is you have a purchase an item over $1 for cash back" which is a policy I never heard of before , even at THIS STORE that I just got cash back from 2 days prior without any issues. So cool whatever I grabbed 2 packs of gum and told them I just wanna have 2 separate transactions because the cash back limit is $40 , after ringing up first item she told me I couldn't do the other because the cash back limit is one transaction per customer. WHAT?!!! Lol. I've been to a million cvs/Walgreens and have never been hit with this policy. Then ZACH the manager came to try to explain to me how that's the policy at every cvs and after I told him that's a lie he said "well I'm the manger at this cvs and that's the policy" so after me and him got into a back and forth , one of the assistant managers, a white female , had the nerve to mutter "******* within her sentence. I couldn't make out her whole sentence but most definitely N***** is what stood out. My blood is boiling right now. And ZACH had the nerve to say if you have a issue call corporate. And after all this I asked for a refund and he said no I'm not giving you one! Lmao. Terrible terrible store and it's crazy how racism is still seeping throughout our country and is enable bu people that look like us everyday. 100 thumbs down

Yeah. I'd rather come to this CVS at Richmond than shop at Chinatown CVS. Customer service and product selection are much better.

If I could give this cvs a zero stars I would I witnessed how a employee literally neglect a lgbtq girl who needed something from the pharmacy . And the employee literally said am moving You can speak louder. I literally was astonished on how rude and disrespectful she was and then I see the poor girl go to the manager and he said "I saw the whole thing she WASENT being rude " the managers name was Aron Peterson " He later said "I won't be apologizing" I left that place in discuss absolutely horrible customer service Please if y'all can avoid this place please do people here are so unfriendly and honestly the worst

I was surprised how helpful the CVS staff was. Especially Rachalle helped me to save money by combining my purchase with coupon and FSA together. Woohoo! I only paid $4 for my $25 purchase. I normally drive through Richmond Avenue to avoid traffic and toll from Chinatown to H-E-B or Kroger during my weekly grocery trips. Westheimer can get a little congested during afternoon commute hours. Once awhile I stop at this CVS to take a break from roadway madness or take a phone call. I love surprises. I would come back more often.

The pharmacist is rude ! She forcibly insisted me to take heart medication that I have never asked for and even my doctor did not prescribe. Without my permission, she sent a fax to the doctor asking for approval of that medicine and somehow managed to get the approval and included that medication in my refill order list without my knowledge. This is a complete violation of patient privacy and also threating to patient health because that medication might have serious side effect. Under this circumstance, I will never feel safe to buy prescription medicine from CVS pharmacy !
