One star — and only because zero isn’t an option.
I just bought a snack for my son, and it was disgusting. Although the expiration date looked fine, the product had weird spots, smelled bad, and tasted even worse. My wife, my son, and I each tried it — none of us could eat it.
I went back to the store to report the issue, and the way I was treated was shocking. I asked if they could at least check the product or offer a refund. One of the staff members, Janeth, told me flat-out:
“It’s not our problem. We’re not going to try it and we can’t give you a refund. Have a good day.”
When I asked her, “Would you give this to your own child?”, she just brushed it off. No care. No responsibility. No basic decency.
To make things worse, Janeth looked completely unfit to be representing any business — unkempt, unprofessional, and with a disturbing attitude. The other lady beside her? Aggressive, defensive, and ready to fight instead of help.
This wasn’t just a bad product — it was a total lack of hygiene, responsibility, and customer care.
⚠️ If you care about your health or your family’s, don’t buy from here.
They don’t take food safety seriously. They don’t respect their customers. And clearly, they don’t care about kids.

I had a really disappointing experience at this location just now that left me feeling disrespected and confused.
I went in to return some unused makeup that I had bought at a different CVS. Since the return policy says you can return items at any store I didn’t think it would be a problem. Andrian, the employee helping me, was nice and had pretty much finished the refund process when another employee suddenly stepped in. This person had no visible name tag, was wearing a red CVS shirt, a durag, and had his shirt halfway up his chest. He loudly said “whoa whoa whoa! STOP” without explaining who he was or why he was interrupting. He then told me I had to take the items back to the original store even though he hadn’t looked at my receipt or anything. Mind you, Andrian had already processed the refund????
When I asked why I had to do that if the refund was already going through he just said “well he’s not a manager I’m the manager and I said you need to take the items back.” He never explained anything clearly and barely even looked at me! It felt like he was just trying to cause a scene in front of the other customers for fun or something.
I stayed calm and asked him “you good?” because he was coming at me with a lot of unnecessary attitude!! His only response was “that’s just how I talk.”
Luckily the refund had already gone through and the slip printed out before he could stop it. I don’t know what his issue was or why he felt the need to act like that but it was totally uncalled for. If this is how CVS trains or selects their managers then something seriously needs to change.
When I walked out of the store another customer who saw the whole thing asked me if I was okay and said they couldn’t believe how I was being treated.
I had my receipt, the products were unopened and I followed all the rules. This never should have happened so I definitely won’t be going back to this location!!

Janette went above and beyond to help me. She was already done for the day, but waited an extra 30 minutes for me to return to the store for a refund so she could assist me. She was super courteous, positive and really showed how much she cared. Thank you Janette!!!

I don’t know what pharmacist was working there today but she was the only lady with a white coat on. Her attitude was ridiculous. How is your career in helping people and you have such a bad attitude? I had an appointment today to get a covid and flu test done and she told me very rudely she didn’t see anything in her system but told me to go through the drive thru anyways so we did and in the drive thru she told us the exact same thing so what was the point of going through the drive thru? I will be sticking with the 20th street location

Employee was rude,short curly haired lady didnt have a name tag on. a small table of easter stuff is at the entrance my son(4 yrs old) grabbed one of the peeps lights since it caught he attention. I took it away and tried to turn it off but its just one of the toys that turns off by itself so i but it back, employee proceeds to tell me to turn it off so someone can buy it i handed it to her tell her i tried to turn it off, she was watching me the hole time since i walked in so she seen i couldnt turn it off after i told her and handed it her she goes ughh great. My son went to grab a candy than circled back to look at the eggs and the employee told him not to touch anything. All with an attitude the whole time i didnt even bother to look any of the items i wanted to look at to avoid getting further annoyed and angry with her comments.

Way too slow. Always a long wait to pick up from the pharmacy. They send you 10 reminders daily, then you wait up to 15 minutes minimum in line to pick up. Totally unacceptable.

Young rude pharmacy techs. Do not recommend this location. They were too busy talking to help customers and then had an attitude because I had a problem waiting 10 minutes watching them talk and laugh. Very immature and no oversight from the pharmacist.

ABDIEL was AMAZING, he had the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. This man NEEDSSSSS a raise asap. I was so thirsty and he kindly pointed me to the waters just AMAZING!

Great but very slow service. It shouldn't take thirty minutes to pay for medication that is ready for pick-up. If they are understaffed, then management is to blame. The pharmacist staff are very friendly though, they just bred more of them.

Bad experience. I signed for a controlled substance, I wasn’t informed that it was out of stock, and the medication wasn’t provided (two medications in total). When I returned to ask about it - the technician stated that everything was provided...then, I asked again if two prescriptions were ordered. Finally, she said that I had another prescription that was out of stock. Several other things occurred that were very questionable about the competency/honesty of the staff...

I’ve been coming here for the pharmacy for a while, and they’ve always been good enough. But tonight I picked up three prescriptions, and Marvin was at the drive thru window. And let me tell ya… Marvin is a total angel!! He informed me my antibiotics would be $$, then said to hold on and offered to see what he could do to get this cost down (without my even asking). He got it down to $ and I was so grateful. He then informed me the nasal spray can also be purchase OTC and asked another tech to go look at the pricing on the shelf to see which was cheaper (again, without my asking). I was so impressed with his initiative to do the right thing for the customer despite making his job slightly more difficult in order to do so. This man deserves a raise and I hope he’s there for a while. He understands the importance of great customer service, and is truly a kind human who embodies integrity and compassion. Go Marvin!
