Very nice people who work here. I came in as a non Muslim and asked for an English Koran and the workers recommended to me what they thought was the best English translation, as well as giving me some pamphlets with information about understand Islam as an outsider. Very friendly people, God bless y'all.

Al Salam Alaykom On 3/30/23 at approximately 13:00; I went into this store looking to purchase an Kufi. I entered the store and greeted the employee at the front register; I asked where can I find the Kufi’s and he told me that they were located in the back aisle. While searching through the Kufi section another employee rudely entered my personal space without acknowledging me or my friend. The employee pick up two Kufi’s from the ground and walked away. While he was walking away I asked if he was an employee because we needed assistance; he replied saying yes I’m am an employee and he proceeded to walk away without helping us. After making our selections we proceed to the front check counter. While at the front counter I noticed a book titled “The Reality of The Nation of Islam” After skimming through the book I found that it had bias language and views towards The Nation Of Islam and its teaching. Also I paid for four different colored Kufi’s as well as some Dates to ate after sunset because we are in the holy month of Ramadan. I noticed the receipt said the total price was $24 but I was charged $30 even after paying with cash. Going forward; I would not recommend this store to any American Black Muslim; there was no respect or appreciation given from any of their employees. Walaikum salam.

As Salaam Alaikum, I need to give a special mention to one of the employees that works here. Babar, who helped me fix my order, provided the best customer service that I could have received, and I am very happy and proud that he helped me. I cannot express my gratitude and I want to let the whole world know that if you come to Dar-us-Salam, or if you need help with an order, please reach out and ask for Babar to help you. Babar is the best! Barakallahu Feekum

I must give 3 stars due to the fact that they have a monopoloy on this business in usa, so they don't have to live up to the same business practices as those with more competition. As Muslims, we must always do our very best in business, in quality, responsibility and never ever cheating or skimping on a customer. The price they charge for books in USA is crazy high. In arab countries you will never pay this much money, even in relation to that country's currency. Next, they charge much money for shipping. The worst part is they don't care about packaging the books, even Quran, in a way that they can have a better chance arriving undamaged. I've seen non Muslims treat our most holy book better than the employees at this company in usa, unfortunately, who I'm assuming are Muslim. My previous order came in a box where the delivery person set it down on my mostly uncovered porch in the rain. Alhamdulilah there was minimal damage to the books, and the box was wet for sure. The next order was a large print quran and another quran. The larger one has all of the corners folded in (and it's hard cover). The books were not packaged in a way to prevent damage with any kind of normal rough delivery handling. They treat Quran like it's a magazine of sports or something. I ask Allah to guide them and give them equal to what they do with His Book in akhira, amin. So buying from these people via mail oder is at your own risk. Amazon does a much better job getting books in new condition to customers, and Amazon backs their products and easy to return. Maybe Amazon will get an islamic book collection one day hopefully. All in all, I am not saying don't give them business, that's up to you. Just a buyer beware note.

Great selection of Islamic media and books, but the shipping costs are a rip off....wonder if the owners are from al monofia....also they charge way too much for these books in usa which are way less in any Arabic country...people who love ? over Deen would do this. The reason I recommend is because it's not easy to find these products in usa.
