This particular store has their items stocked under similar - but incorrect - price labels, leading to a potential bait and switch situation. I learned this when I went to buy 2 items. The manager said they wouldn't honor the price for the items because the UPC didn't match, but I wasn't aware that customers were expected to compare UPC labels on every item they choose. When questioned about deceptive practices, the manager said they want to prevent people from buying an item incorrectly placed in the wrong place, or on a different shelf. When I showed him a photo showing that the display was full of these same items all stocked under the "wrong" price tags, he just said they were incorrectly placed. So his excuse is...poor management? Just be careful when buying here.

Disappointing Experience with Dick’s Sporting Goods – Awful Quality and Customer Service
My experience at Dick’s Sporting Goods (2131 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, TX) was terrible. I bought a pair of Brooks Men’s Revel 7 Running shoes on February 3, 2025, for $99.99, which are supposedly designed for running according to their website. However, in less than 15 days, while running about 4 hours daily, they fell apart: the sole wore out unevenly, and the upper material tore. The quality is awful for a product marketed for running.
When I returned to the store within their 90-day return period (as stated on the receipt), the staff refused to refund me or offer a solution. They made me feel responsible for the issue, ignoring that the product doesn’t meet the quality standards they promise. Their return policy is a lie; they just want your money and then wash their hands of any problems. The customer service was dreadful, and I felt completely ignored.
I strongly recommend avoiding this store and buying directly from the brand instead. I’ve lost all trust in Dick’s Sporting Goods and will be filing a claim with my bank (American Express). Beware of their empty promises! This was my last purchase here.

I shopped here for delivery, but I am unfamiliar with the products. I asked for help from 2 different persons, and instead of taking me to location of the item, they just pointed in a general direction. It took me along time to find the item because they just didn't care to show me. Not nice!

Shoe department workers are lazy and rude. I will never give this location business again. Get rid of the guys in the shoe department. They were so rude to me.

We drove out to this location because the Baybrook location was out of stock. I would rather not have the item I need than to step foot back into this store. I’ve worked retail in the past, and I genuinely understand not liking your job, but the guys in the shoe department are painful to interact with. They don’t want to be there so bad that it makes you feel bad for having to buy something from the store. I only purchased here because I had no other option, but in the future, would just go without.

Help was nice. Went to go try on shoes. Looked online to make sure certain shoe was in stock in my size. Didn’t have either item. Update your inventory. Waste of gas and time coming here.
