I'm in the middle of the honeymoon period, and I think I've seen enough.
There are just too many issues, too much baggage to do a 2-year contract with these guys.
In the latest episode, it took almost 48 hours for the Gemini to update. They also charged my card during the trial period, a clear violation of our agreement. When I called them out, they tried to tell me I was mistaken, and this is in the contract.
I was fortunate enough to get someone in the chat to cancel everything, que the refund, and provide a shipping label.
These guys haven't changed very much from their satellite days. The language barrier is a little lower . Charging my card early, billing more than quoted, technical issues are still standard operating procedure.

Absolutely worse customer service I've had in over 2 decades. AND the most worse resolve with CBS I've ever been apart of. Completely disappointed. I'll be better with Dish. I'm positive.

I called Direct TV's technical department on Monday, July 24, 2023, to request a technician to come to my house to replace the main control box for cable. I was told that a Direct TV technician would be at my house between 8 am and 12 pm(noon) on July 25, 2023. My husband and I never left the house. Our cars were in the driveway, and we have a doorbell. The technician filed a report that he came to our house and knocked on the door. He reported that we were not home. The technician lied. My husband and I were at home waiting on a text, a phone call, or a ring from the doorbell. The technician did not do either, and he never showed up. I, reluctantly, had to reschedule for tomorrow, July 26, 2023.I pray that a technician shows up tomorrow!!

If I could give zero stars I would. DirecTV is poorly run and not customer service friendly. After cancelling my deceased fathers DirecTV and returning all equipment, DirecTV took automatic payments from my deceased fathers checking account for 2 additional months. After calling to complain several times I was told a refund would be issued by way of a MasterCard debit card, but this would take months to be issued. No supervisor would speak with me even though I requested to speak with one. After finally receiving the debit card the balance mysteriously disappears even when it isn't being used. The phone number and website on the back of the card are of no help in trying to find where the balance went. No one in my family will ever use DirecTV again.

Don't get this service. I live in 77584 area code. I placed a call to have my dish moved. After waiting all morning the technicians never showed up. The help desk apologized and moved the call to the next day. Again I waited all day and this was a no show again. Don't get this service. Direct TV doesn't have enough people to service their accounts.

Non-disclosure of terms for contracts when activating services, with predatory practices especially if you're a new home owner such as myself, they will try to extort you if you cancel services without telling you about ETFs trying to get you to reactivate said services

Today I called in to cancel my service and after talking with three different agents; I am a bit confused as to why a corporation has no procedures!!! None at all. I had to answer the same questions over within the same company!!! After an hour of cancellation and talking about streaming package offers the last guy tells me I get a $200 promotion if I set it up myself!!! WTH...his words not mine, "my system can be glitchy and take long it will be faster if you do it!!! You know there's a reason why people don't want to work for company does not truly think about true customer service!! I am just appalled that Aiden( the last guy) basically said not I'm so many words; I can do it better than he can!!! Then the calls gets disconnected...Xfinity here I come!!! I wanna give no stars but that's not possible!!!

I ordered Directv a month ago and they have canceled 5 appointments. I have spent over 20 hours on the phone with no help. My wife has lost wages taking off work to be here for appointments and they haven't showed up. When they finally did show up, they accidently turned off my internet, left without telling me why, said they would come back, and never did. Additionally, they canceled the free streaming while we wait for installation and told me that they couldn't turn it back on until my recievers are installed. However, i can't get anyone here to install my recievers. If you are anywhere around Missouri City or Sugar Land Texas go elsewhere! This is the worst customer service i have ever seen, and i would have moved on a long time ago if they didn't have the NFL Sunday Ticket.
