This store is horrible. The employees must work here because they love harrasing people and generally being in terrible moods. The older one with glasses is some sort of a witch. She prefers to work at night, so go by day for safety, especially with young children. However, the young ones during the day are no picnic either. Funny, most jobs people get because they enjoy social interactions or meeting new people in friendly ways, but these employees must attempt to fester their bad moods out into the world, and their means: Dollar General Employ. This store is a joke. Sadly, it exists.

Worst dollar general ever. Never stay open until the time they are supposed to. Looks like a tornado ran through that bish. How they have not gotten this store in order by now is beyond me.

It was 8:45pm & I had the doors locked on me literally in my face by the security before walking in, although online says they are opened til 10pm. The employees at this location are beyond disrespectful. I was not the only customer trying to get a few things before the night was over. This location needs new management.

9:40 pm they let a black guy in, I was behind the black guy they wouldn't let me in. They'll only help you if you're black here. They close at 9:.30 but they say at 10:00, unless you're a brother.

I just watched this hispanic male close the store at 6:54 pm... the store says it closes at 10, he looks like a new hire because I never seen him before. Y'all are paying him to sit on his ass the rest of his shift.

Literally the ugliest customer service ever. I walked around the store for ten minutes trying to get help just for a basket! Never again

Moved in the areas a couple of years ago, and this store was a hot mess. The a/c was always out, the aisles were blocked with boxes, no baskets, etc. MUCH improvement has taken place, specifically over the past 6 months.Shelves are (usually) stocked better, staff is always friendly, the a/c works consistently.HOWEVER…we can’t seem to keep baskets in-house. That’s a problem when shopping. If customers could carry more than a few items in their arms to the counter, the store’s sales would increase dramatically, and we would get a better reflection of that increase. If the baskets are being taken, invest in those which lock at a certain point in the parking lot. Stop suggesting we use Kroger’s baskets. Get us some baskets, and we’d purchase more items. We purchase more items, the store gets better resourced.

I don't think I've been to a Dollar General Store and maybe now I know why... Not all items are a dollar! I was looking for makeup sponges for Lisa and her cat (her cat uses makeup sponges as toys) and artificial flowers. I didn't see any artificial flowers and the makeup sponges were a bit pricey. Even the reading glasses were $10 when I can get them for a dollar at Dollar Tree. Hmmm... I didn't really see any bargains, so... I left. Maybe I'll return later? Later ... I did return! I told Lisa that we should look for gardening supplies for the plants that she was gifted. I'm happy to report that Dollar General had potting soil ($5 for a good brand), shovels ($1), and pots with good drainage ($2)! I asked a friendly employee if they had any spray bottles and she said they were sold out - and maybe return in a couple days because a big shipment just arrived! That was nice of her to give good information! Lisa even got some mosquito repellent, and treats and toys for her cat! She saw a pot with a cover for about $10. It seemed to be a better deal than Goodwill (which had a scratched up covered pot for about the same price)! We will keep it in mind later on when we are ready to make curry!
