The store at Hammerly and Gessner one time I was attacked at the front door by a young black girl. I'm 71 years old and there was no security. Bystanders just watched. Shame on her and shame on the Bystanders.

I would definitely say this store needs some love but I gave it 3 stars because I found some needed stationary items for my bible annotations. Spent about $10 on a spiral college ruled notebook, markers, sticky notes, starry soda can & slim Jim sticks. After I found my items the mess in the store everyone’s talking about got turned to a blind eye, so win-win. Hopefully 3 stars will motivate the team🥳 cause I love dollar tree😂😆😆 Thank you dollar for my find!!!🤞🙂↕️💵

Management here needs to let go. Clearly they do care about appearance or shop ability of their store. Dollar tree really needs to do better.

Bad service, especially if you are Hispanic, those at the checkout counters serve at a lower price, do not buy there

Don't go to this location. Long line and only one very slow cashier. Constantly missing common items found in other stores. The staff doesn't appear to even try to stock some items.

This store didn't take my returns for chocolates that I bought at another Dollar Tree location before Easter and when I was able to go to the location I bought them from after the holiday ended I was only able to get half of the money back.
This location was also closed multiple times even though it clearly said online that it was open so ruined my plans and costed me even more money and time to return the chocolates back.
Also, the other location's manager told me that any store can take returns so this is quite disappointing that bad return policies, which aren't posted anywhere online or on the receipt, plus the lies told by this location's manager about them not being able to take returns when they are able to has dissuaded me and anyone I know from coming to this store.

I love dollar tree but I hate this location. This location on Hammerly in Gessner. They always close for. I don’t know what reason I really don’t care, but they do it often.

Seemingly always some sort of problem with say air conditioning products are expired alot of the time.

An old woman in front of me had her card and money on the belt while she was digging in her purse. The belt shifted forward and her card and money went through the crack. The day manager refused to loosen one screw on the plate so she could get her money and card out. He said someone else lost a $20 bill in there earlier today too, and just like them, she was out of luck because he would not open it to retrieve her money or card. Luckily, the cashier pried the plate up enough that she could at least get her card back out. The manager then complained to me and other customers that the woman acted like she knew how he was supposed to do his job. Very poor treatment of customers and very unprofessional attitude.
The shelves are often poorly stocked too, but I was willing to look past that until today. I will no longer shop at this location, and will drive the extra 10 minutes to a different dollar tree in the future.
