I came by about two weeks ago and picked up a couple cigars. I’m just now trying one, and I can say I’m pretty impressed. I will be going back to get some more to try. The service was also very kind and helpful.

Was driving by when I saw it, when I entered I was greeted warmly by the owner. He was willing to teach me about cigars and recommended a few to try out. I must say his recommendations were on point with my palette, and I'm definitely coming back when I'm low again.

Sometimes, you just get it right. In life, in business. Don Oscar's does it with both. I've been in many cigar shops, lounges & stores. Big is not always better and expensive doesn't always mean quality. Don Oscar's small intimate footprint is like Snoopy's doghouse w so much inside. I was greated by the owner who was Cuban and informed me he was a master blender. I saw that he had 70% of the sticks he sold were his blends, while the remaining 30 was standard cigar industry cigar brands. But, it was the blends that intrigued me and delivered. I chose a habano robusto and smoked it as the owner/blender sat and talked about life, the cigar business and life. Also, let me be clear that habano delivered a beautiful smoke enhanced by the heartfelt insightful exchange. I received a lesson about the cigar business by a true tobbaconist. Rarely, do you get to sit w the person who was the brainchild behind the cigar you were smoking in real time-that is a true revelation & experience. And, that what it was, an experience, a pleasurable one, that became an honor. I left w an education about what got the great stick I was smoking from concept to in my hand delivering me a grand experience. So, while not the expensive, large lounges offering everything. I got a personal genuine EXPERIENCE that left me more than just being a transactional patron, but a customer who was appreciative of the time, knowledge & education I received.
As, I stated at the start of this review. Sometimes, you just get it right.
I highly recommend Don Oscar's Cigars as a must visit for true cigar smokers.

Stopped in today after a long hitch on the boat. Bought the 4 blend presidential hybrid. When I sat down to smoke it, it was delicious smooth through out. Really enjoyed it. Also when I was there the man I talked to was very nice took the time to talk to me, he talked about the different tobaccos blended to make the cigar. Asked what I liked. He really went above and beyond to make my experience top notch.

I had never been to this shop before today. I went on vacation and saw the sign for cigars and just had to stop. Man, I’m so glad that I did! The staff was extremely welcoming and immediately picked up a conversation with me. Whether you’re a novice or a pro, the staff treats you all the same with respect, good humor, and great interest. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely have to swing by!

I stopped by Don Oscar's Cigar shop yesterday and picked up a handful of cigars, I smoked a robusto with a habano wrapper and by far one of the best cigars I've smoked, even burn, rolled very well , the draw was perfect, and the taste and strength can rival the name brand competition, I smoked it by the seawall and even got compliments how good the smell was, I'm surprised since cigar smoke is frown upon out in the public... specially out in the public!I smoked my 2nd cigar this morning with a cup of black coffee, and Oscar did told me he used a hybrid technique and he uses multiple leafs for that optimum taste , the one I smoked was a torpedo/robusto size, this was a delicious Blend with the flavors of hazelnut, black cocoa, natural sweet tobacco , slight peppery and spice in it.Definitely will come back to Don Oscar's again when I come back in town. Thank you Oscar for the Experience and the knowledge you shared, The Man is an Artisan

Came by for the first time last week. Got some recommendations on cigars and they were fantastic. Owner was real knowledgeable and took time to explain each cigar. Will make this my regular stop!
