Dovetail had done many home remodeling projects for me! I cannot say enough good things about them. They are prompt and professional! The work is of the finest quality. When they leave each day my home is spotless! I can’t even tell I’m having construction done. They are totally trustworthy, I give them keys to my home, nothing is ever stolen or broken. We have been working with Dovetail since 2019 (they were the original builder of the house and now helping us maintain). Pablo has been our guy - we can call him for anything and anytime, and he and his team takes care of things like their own family problem. Dovetail Builders remodeled our Bellaire home in 2001 and the result was beautiful. Our home was on the Bellaire Home Tour that year. Dovetail Builders is professional, efficient and qualified. Twenty-three years later, Dovetail still performs various projects in our home with the same quality of workmanship and efficiency. Dovetail has skilled individuals in all trades. I own a 79 year old bungalow and have needed to improve every system related to our property, including the garage! We have utilized Chris and his highly skilled crews for everything. They consistently exceed our expectations for quality at every step along the way! Chris will thoroughly explain the work needed, prices (best quality, medium or just patch it for now.) His crews are very respectful, clean up after their work is done and even haul off their trash! We look forward to using their services again soon!

Chris and his team built new closets for us that looked they'd always been there. What hasn't he done in our home? We had an elevator that had a leak from for an unknown site. He diagnosed the problem and repaired and it worked fine until Harvey came, then it and the whole downstairs filled up with water. Last summer, Dovetail Builders, Inc. performed a major repair and renovation project at my home in River Oaks. I was very pleased with the professionalism and care demonstrated by the owner, Chris Fry, and his general superintendent, Pablo Angulo. They provided invaluable advice as unanticipated issues arose. I was very pleased by the quality of Dovetail’s work, its value cost-wise, and the timeliness of completion. Their workers were very good and also respectful of their surroundings. Chris Fry & his crew from Dovetail Builders is my go-to team for home repairs & upgrades. I own a 1937 home and Dovetail has completed many projects that include: updating 2 bathrooms, updating electrical, as well as interior & exterior paint. In addition, they took on the large task of changing my original windows and installing modern, energy-efficient windows. Another large job they performed was finishing out my garage.
