My first visit was lovely, the lady who I spoke to (I think her name was Audrey?) Was great, informative, and we got along very well. I had visited with my best friend Shelby and I test rode one of their Riese & Muller Ebikes. I know a bit about the specific eBike I rode, as well as generally. My second visit was with my husband, he outright started asking questions about the e-bike, to which the gentleman answered. The gentleman that was here, was giving off "I know more then you" vibes and I didn't appreciate it. He tried correcting me on information I already knew, and also tried telling me that 75 mile range before load is a TON and more then enough for what I was looking for, even though I had to tell him repeatedly that it was not because I've done about 50 miles on my gravel bike in one day, and for my type of work, I need all the range I can get. It's almost as if he did not want to accept what I was saying and it was very rude. He also had the audacity to say that Benno was a lower quality e-bike compared to Riese & Muller, which is wild to me. I'm aware that there is a slight price difference between the two, but both of these bike brands are considered high end. I wasn't the only person who thought this guy was full of it, my husband also made notice of this and I just didn't feel comfortable sticking around. I'll come back when Audrey is in town again! But if I did buy anything from this bike shop, I would definitely limit my interactions with this particular guy. This is a standard showcase type of bike shop, but with the right people it is a great experience! PS. Please get some music going inside of there! It's dead quiet every time I walk in and it feels a bit awkward lol

1400 Mile / 5 month review:Excellent Electric Bicycle shop. A,M,&M are excellent store operators and techs. Helpful when I had questions or needed repairs or accessories, despite my being a rather slow, time consuming customer. The Gazelle C380 (2022 model) I opted for has been the best personal purchase I've ever made. I bicycle long distances to my office, and get around without a car locally for errands. I feel better than when I started riding and I've lost weight. I have not burnt out riding like I did with my non-electric bicycle. This bicycle has been quality and held up without major issues despite a few minor scratches and even a fall in a grassy area. The belt is very low maintenance. Battery range is about 45 miles on lvl3 assist (with a fully loaded bicycle), which meets my needs. I really like the integrated lights and that the bicycle is so easy to clean. The step through has been amazing though, so much easier to mount and dismount at stop lights / intersections.I am glad I went with a Class 1 (18mph) model because it has kept me and others around safer (easier to slow down for joggers and walkers), given longer range, and let me enjoy the city's multi-use pathways without any legal complications. My commute brings me through George Bush and Terry Hershey parks. The motor overcomes the wind and hills in those areas more than adequately.I've been able to enjoy nature and navigate around my part of town better now that I can scout more often. The only downside is that this is a deceptively heavy bicycle. If you don't properly grip and plan for terrain shifts, it can be harder to manage. My fall at ~1k mi odo, was in a grassy area with muddy ruts. After my fall, I developed a bruised mass of muscle where the seat jammed into my leg. Took a few weeks to fully heal. However, the electric bicycle made recovery easier. My body was kept in shape as I healed, and I wasn't stuck at home all the time. I now ride much more safely / attentively. The bicycle is larger and a tad wider than most non-electric so that may take some getting used to, but after I adjusted my seat, and got better at proper positioning, handling, and balance, it's been great. One benefit of the wider down tube: I fit a 32oz Hydroflask in a Wild Wolf Outfitters 40 oz sleeve on a Blackburn Outpost Cargo Cage, as it matches the roughly 4 inch width. Having more water is so nice! The larger accessories I purchased:140mm plug-in AXA chain. I have enjoyed the longer length here, makes it easier to park for quick stops. Came with a carrying case too!ABUS 1060/170 Granit CityChain X-Plus Chain lock. Great for home storage and locking up for longer durations. Ordered Keyed alike.STAMP 1 pedals: good grippy flat pedals with pins that fit well under my Leatts. My feet have not slipped, even in wet weather.Extra Second Standard Bosch Charger: for charging at work. No issues so far. Works well.Lazer MIPS helmet (was on sale), fit well and is more visible than my old helmet.I'll give an update when I hit higher mileage. Cheers! Happy days.

New Bike shop in the heights. Had my ebike serviced here and the service was incredible. They also specialize in ebikes so that’s a plus since they know what they are doing. Will be going here from now on.

Joshua helped me get a Tern GSD cargo ebike, and what a great experience I had. He helped me with a number of accessories and logistics, and he delivered with expertise, enthusiasm, and on time. You are in good hands with him. This is the only bike shop in Houston that sells higher end ebikes, so I was happy to see it opening. The ebikes they sell might cost a little more than the entry level brands you find elsewhere, but if you want a sweet electric ride that's reliable, safe, functional, low maintenance, and beautiful to look at, there is no comparison. Worth every penny - and come to think of it, a lot cheaper than the car I no longer have to buy.

After riding a wide variety of ebikes, I selected the Gazelle Ultimate C8 low step. Test rode several other Gazelle models at the Austin store and spoke with Audrey at length about which model would be best for the country gravel roads in the Brenham area. Then when the Houston store opened and had the bike I wanted coming in, I chose to pick it up there. Joshua put the knobby tires and Tannus armour on the wheels which will help me navigate the gravel and if I do experience a flat, the Tannus armour will allow me to get home. I also added a Kinekt seat post to absorb the bumps on the road.Joshua also was able to get the bike rack I wanted from his distributor as it was out of stock online. He also expertly assembled it.Joshua can help you find the bike best for your needs and customize it for you. He speaks bike and is an avid rider. He is totally customer oriented. Looking forward to riding many miles and staying in shape during my retirement.

Let me start off by saying I don't own an electric bike. So when I first rode into Electric Avenue I wasn't sure that I would get the services I needed. FUN FACT: Electric Avenue works on normal bikes too. I pulled my bike out of storage and it desperately needed some attention. The staff has tons of experience with a variety of bikes and they completed the work promptly. It's a fun and friendly environment with a sweet inventory and a fantastically accessible location. Need your bike serviced? Go here. Trust me.

I purchased my second ebike from Houston's Electric Avenue outlet. Previously I owned a 20mph mid-drive ebike, and I thought I just needed a little extra boost for my needs, and so became interested in the 28mph Bosch drive option. Josh provided me great assistance and advice to help determine my final choice--the Gazelle Ultimate T10+. I test rode the 53 frame bike that was in the shop; Josh thought that was totally adequate for my size, but I was a little uncomfortable about the turn radius. Josh was extremely forthcoming in obtaining a 57 frame from Austin, brought it to Houston for me to try to see if I liked it. I love it! Maybe it's slightly oversized for me, but I grew up riding adult bikes as a kid growing up outside the USA, where bicycle models were very limited, so this Gazelle feels perfect for me. The exquisite Dutch engineering that is behind the Gazelle, plus the German Bosch drive, makes for a truly fantastically performing ebike; furthermore, the design aesthetics/color makes this bike a real prize to own and ride!

I took my family to Electric Avenue to test ride/decide between an Urban Arrow or Riese & Müller cargo bike. Josh took his time helping us out and answered a ton of questions. He really went the extra mile, not just up until my purchase but also many weeks afterwards when he hand delivered an accessory that was back ordered. Would definitely recommend and I look forward to servicing my rig here.

Just purchased two ebikes for our family here. The owners were very kind, knowledgeable and easy going. We love our new bikes (so does our toddler!) and like having the peace of mind that if we have any issues we have somewhere in town to service them.

The fine folks at Electric Avenue were extremely knowledgeable regarding the various electric cargo bike options on the market. We ordered the Urban Arrow and our family absolutely loves it! I can’t recommend this place enough.
