ADDENDUM: Later In The Evening. After Management Commented that I Made An "OFF COLOR" Remark. Apparently, comparing your coffee to what's served at Denny's is considered "OFF COLOR".The coffee @ #EQheights was modest at best. I've had much better in Meridian, Texas to San Francisco, California. Just say'n!(COFFEE IS DEFINITELY WEAK. I HAD THE REGULAR AND PECAN ROAST. WE DID WAIT 20 MINUTES TO GET OUR 2 PASTRIES. WAY TOO TOO LONG!!)My wife enjoyed her pecan roast coffee. My standard drip, not so much. A bit weak. We did enjoy our two small pastries.Since we're in Houston in mid March. It was definitely humid and overcast. Plenty of folks enjoying the tiny breakfast entrees, coffee and pastries. There was plenty of room inside and out. A bit of parking in the back. Enjoyed my time in this older Houston neighborhood.Parking: Approximately 20 parking spots in the back. Sweet!

Used to be a welcoming coffee shop with good food and great coffee. Coffee is good, but the food is awful and the employees are rude. Very disappointing.

Great local coffee shop with a nice porch! This place makes you feel like you are having coffee at one of the local houses around the area. They have a great selection of drinks and food! Perfect place to just sit out on the porch and read a book or gather with friends and have a nice conversation. Eat local!

Basing this review off of the service I had experienced recently.I came in, ordered from the register as I have a business not far away from this location.Coffee was good, food wasn’t bad at all.Guy behind register was rather unpleasant.Started talking to me as usual, someone came in with a poster and he cut me off and started speaking to him without even a “I’m sorry one second”.Didn’t start making my drink until halfway through his conversation while there wasn’t anyone in front or behind me. Didn’t say one word to me for the rest of the time I was there. No offence or anything but I’d rather just walk to coffee bond down the road instead.

This is the first time getting coffee here and it was not good. Also the lid on the coffee had a weird moldy smell. The outside area is nice and the ambiance inside the store.

Cool spot, good seating and vibes but the coffee was awful, tasted like water with syrup. If it wasn't for the fast service and vibes would be give zero stars for the coffee.

Awesome in every way! Great ambiance, reasonable prices for the area.Dietary restrictions: They have healthy options & an amazing variety of teas.Parking: They have parking in the front & the back, for the heights area this is a lot of parking.

Quiet and quaint, a shop that offers tea, coffee and alcohol. There are a few food offerings that include pastries. Lots of people on computers but it is okay to talk out loud ? Outdoor dog friendly patio.Dietary restrictions: Alt milk choices, oatmilk, soy, almond and coconut

Wife and I really love this place. We come here at least once a week. It's the perfect cozy and eclectic coffee shop. They make great coffee, the food they serve is excellent, and the staff is always friendly.

Don’t even consider stopping by, just go to common bond and enjoy your time and get treated better. Restroom was out of order, I was told to walk to dish society. Frozen as hell flat white, and tasteless red velvet cake. No heaters almost turned into a snowman. The blonde guy in cap who smokes on the patio, go fix your attitude. In America, refill for coffee is always free no matter what, but these people are aliens don’t have any sense of high quality service. Don’t even deserve a penny nor a second spent in there. Just shut down.Parking: So tight parking entry, almost damaged my SUV. People smoking around.
