I drove all the way from Sargent Texas to hit $1 day. Definitely worth the drive two huge bags of shoes and clothes for $22. I live in the country so I go through clothed by getting paint or bleach or I rip them so it’s not worth it for me to buy new clothes. Plus I’m retired on a small fixed income.I love family thrift outlet. They always have so much stuff. Yes you do have to search but it’s worth it. I highly recommend it and I’ll be back every time I can get to Houston.

I love family thrift! I am cheap, cheap, cheap, and I can get a full wardrobe and then some for less. Then, I could get a whole outfit at a retail outlet. $.50 Tuesdays.

There was nothing but clothes at this place so basically no "incredible rare treasures" or lucky finds. It seemed really busy though and when I asked the clerk what was going on, he pointed at the sign to let me know that each item purchased was a buck... no wonder! I have enough clothes and was just treasure hunting! Nice welcoming staff of employees but the customers acted like they were shopping on Black Friday!

I went for the first time with a friend who is a regular on Thursday $2 new inventory day . I got some nice things and some with new tags on them. I will be back. Once those doors open, be prepared for someone to bump you to get in the door first, other than that. Nice thrift store.

This is one of my favorite thrift shops. The employees are so friendly and helpful. They have tons and tons of housewares. I went the other day and clearly a man who had worked for the St Louis Cardinals for years had just donated his entire closet. Great finds.

I love coming to this thrift! It's like searching for treasures. You will never leave empty handed. However, be prepared to dig and search. Great finds if you're willing to look.

Well ok, some of the negative reviews are right. the place isn’t super clean and it’s crowded BUT honestly it’s worth it..you get good decent clothes for less than $1 most days, the line is long but moves relatively quickly, and yeah it’s like a scavenger hunt throughout the store but I always walk out of there with plenty of stuff that’s in good conditions..

Dirty, zero organization effort, stuff all over the floors. Drive down little York to the other one. More expensive but great finds and clean!

It is very busy, queue was very long. The inventory was very bare as half the store was marked "closed". Difficult shop here arriving at opening time it was already chaotic Black Friday environment. Parking lot spaces get to full capacity quickly.

This is the worst family thrift I’ve been to. Crowded, dirty and even the clothes have stains and tears and they put them out. Went on Thursday and this family thrift charges you more than what’s on the tag and calls it $2.25 day where everything in the store is that cost even if the tag says .97. The other family thrifts only charge that price if it’s than the $2.25. Go to another location.

You can find some gems, but you need to come early. That is when the serious people come to get all there stuff.
