I’ve watched Paul Cantù since his beginnings, and I can tell you for sure they plan for him to have he biggest finds for marketing. It’s easy to follow his thrift route if you pay attention, but he knows when to go & not go. Find a plain & understand it the best you can. All us underdogs are playing against these big dawgs. He’s set up for success at this place. No debate, just watch.

Went on Sunday dec 3 and store was very tidy and clean as could be. It is a treasure hunt to find what you want that might be in your size. They do try to categorize things in women’s men, boys and children but of course everything gets mixed up. Sometimes it’s hard to find two shoes that match but overall I love going to the family thrift outlet. Specially, when it’s dollar 1.50 day or dollar day.. I don’t live in Houston anymore so it’s a rare occasion when I get to go to family thrift outlet these days. Maybe you should open the location in Matagorda county. There are no good thrift stores like family thrift outlet in Matagorda county.

My favorite place to go thrifting, great prices for good items. Definitely better then any goodwill or other second hand stores. As a college student this is one of those places that help me to get affordable clothing/items when money is extremely tight.

Meh. Price was a bit high but acceptable. The selection was a bit thin of good items. The clothing is by colors, not sizes. They have a bunch of sizes, small-large. Not many XL-3XL sizes

If you are looking for clothing and not spend a lot of your hard earned money, then this is the right place for a you to get the bang for your buck.

I've visited many thrift stores, and this one has been my least favorite. The workers are very nice but the store itself is messy. Everything is all over the place. Nothing is sized, and everything is mixed up. Mens, women's and children's clothing are all over the store. You have to take time to go through every single aisle. The signs that are hanging on top that say 'men', ladies, girls are all wrong because nothing is categorized that way either. Everything is mixed up together. So unless you have hours of time, you may or may not find anything.

One of my favorite places to thrift clothes. You just can’t beat the price!I will comment on others reviews. This thrift store is an outlet, the prices are at most $2.25. It’s not going to be the most organized, it’s an outlet. Compared to goodwill outlet where everything is in bins and is a madhouse, this place is amazing. The fact that everything is at least hung up is a huge plus. Don’t expect this to be a boutique thrift store.

this thrift is in the hood .don’t expect a red carpet when you walk in . my favorite thrift hands down , prices are great!! you will only find great stuff if you look . i see alot of people talking about how dirty it is but ive seen this thrift on their dirty days AND their clean days . its clean at times lol i say never let that discourage you cause you can truly find great pieces, bags & belts . unfortunately since this thrift is so cheap they do block off a part of the store & reopen it on pricer days . its a great thrift when you figure it out <3 happy thrifting!!!

Family Thrift has the absolute best prices of any thrift store in Houston, hands down. They have prices based on the day of the week (see pic I included) and a great selection.

They should put the hours somewhere outside the store, if they have it it needs to be bigger because I don’t see it. I come in and two of the cashiers tell me it’s closed I said okay. I see someone with a cart coming my way trying to leave. So I go forward a little bit so they can pass by plus behind that person I see my niece coming my way. These two ladies scream at me that is closed AGAIN. After I already heard them and said okay. I told them I was only moving so that the man can pass by, now can I move to the side or no?Plus this little girl that’s coming to me because we know each other obviously.I kept telling my niece to go back to my mom so I can leave because I see these women watching me like if “I’m gonna try to go in”. At this point I don’t wanna go in, keep your stuff. It was just rude how they screamed after I already said okay. If I said okay if because I heard you and you don’t need to scream like a crazy person. Definitely never coming back.
