I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with FedEx that solidified my opinion of them as the most inefficient courier service I’ve ever dealt with. As usual, they seem to go out of their way to make the customer experience as complicated as possible.
Today, I needed to return a pair of shoes to DSW. The process should have been straightforward: simply drop off the prepared return package at the FedEx office. However, upon arriving, I was informed that the package needed to be placed in a different box. When I asked if I could purchase a suitable box at the FedEx office, they told me they didn’t have any available and that I would need to go elsewhere, such as Home Depot, to buy one.
This unnecessary runaround to get a basic task done is emblematic of my experiences with FedEx. This is not the first time I’ve encountered such complications with their service. Every time, it’s the same story: inconvenient policies and unhelpful customer service.
I strongly advise against using FedEx if you want a simple and hassle-free delivery service. There are many other couriers out there that provide a much smoother experience.

The line was fast and efficient. They have a notary onsite which was very convenient and the staff is knowledgeable and polite. Love this location.

The number given takes you to an automated voice system that doesn't get to the resources I was calling about (i.e. services, cost, method, availability etc.) I hung up because 1. I dislike systems that don't have the option for speaking a command option vs. Pushing a button. There is no privacy in speak options only. 2. The time it's taking to navigate a subpar phone option system vs. Calling the next best option already pulled up in the search engine that found said business makes me just move on.

Stolen packages from FEDEX drivers, dont use FedEx. They'll try and deny your claim, knowing their drivers are stealing.
