we have business banked here for 25 years, placing stop payment on a check takes an act of congress now
after being rotated through 4 or 5 persons and holding for over an hour I am being told that I dont exist in their system, currently on hold for a supervisor

Worst bank staff I have ever seen. I wanted to open a business checking account, I gave them all the information they asked. He asked for more statements a couple days later and I provide those too. Didn't hear from him for a week so I emailed and called, no response. Did this over a period of several weeks and I would talk to them on the phone and they would say we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Must've sent 5-6 follow up emails and probably called them 4-5 times to see what happened. Every time I called, they would tell me the manager who was working on my account is either in a meeting or left for the day and would get back to me. They ghosted me and never responded to any correspondence. Jose Leal is the absolute worst manager here and his colleague Nicole Briscoe is no help at all either. Such a waste of time even trying to communicate with them. Don't use this bank, go somewhere else. They'll take all your information and then ghost you.

If I could give them NO stars I WOULD! It is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to anyone either here at this branch or the 800 customer service number. The customer service line doesn't have the option I need. Therefore It was not allowing me to even be connected to live agent. Second I called a local branch where I was placed on hold for over 25 min before someone answered and hung up on me.

I have never left a bad review of a B2B business until now, but I feel the need to warn as many other business owners as I can to stay away from First Citizens Bank.I have been with this bank over a year and even have an SBA loan with them. I have never had a worse experience with a bank in my life. I am currently in the process of moving all my accounts to another bank. All of the people at their corporate location, their SBA department, as well as the some of the higher level managers at the local branches are wholly incompetent.There have been entirely too many things to go into in a short review, but I highly recommend using another bank and saving yourself a lot of frustration and money--yes, they cost me A LOT of money by making a mistake during the SBA loan process.

I have experienced Worst customer service I’ve ever seen for any bank, here is why: 1. The bank did allow multiple unauthorized charges to my account even after I reported them as soon as I noticed them 2. They’ve charged me a fee for every unauthorized charge 3. I’ve called the bank 3 times with all 3 resulting in hang ups from the reps and no answers at all- I don’t even know if I was able to block my own card so to prevent unauthorized charges I don’t expect any answers back from the bank. Let that be an example for you.

I became a customer at this bank after the branch manager Kim helped me deal with an issue I had at my bank on a check written from hers. My bank (Regions) dealt with the situation horribly and Kim helped me get it sorted out even tho I wasn't her banks customer. After seeing what type of customer service they provided I immediately moved my accounts there. If you are looking for a more personal experience with your banking and want a team that doesn't treat you like a hassle when you need help with a problem I suggest you give them a shot! It is hard to find the level of customer service they provide this day in age. Thanks Kim and the entire Galarea First Citizens Bank team! You guys are awesome : )

Beleive it or not this establishment is far more superior than the pathetic useless branch in sugarland with the moronic worthless staff that couldn't manage a lemonade stand not withstanding a financial institution, like little children with new and complicated toys!

This Galleria location is the worst bank ever!!! Please do yourself a favor and do not bank at this location, the people at this branch have no clue how to handle business accounts. They are quick to sell you their products but not quick to fixing issues they created themselves when it comes to the product (credit cards) they sold you on. The Managers do not even have the decency to call a customer to try and resolve the matter instead they try to pass it on to someone else at another branch. If you bank here at this location I suggest you request to be transferred to the sugar land location, they have better management and customer service.

So, just moved here from South Carolina and needed to make a deposit only to find out that theirs only one first citizens bank around Houston and it says its open on Saturday 9-12 so i drive an hour to get there to find out they're closed all day Saturday. Thanks for nothing.

This bank has POOR business banking policies, archaic online banking technology and is just behind in the times all together. Now I understand why they only have 2-branches in Houston. This bank has nothing to offer and I wasted my time opening a business account. I will be closing it and moving to banking with modern technology.
