I am a notorious penny pincher, but I never second guess the expense for proper running shoes. Fleet Feet-Woodway is my store but any store that exclusively sells running shoes is best (make sure you understand the exchange/return policy which should give you a chance to tryout your new shoes.) Shoes get new models all the time, so a shoe that is perfect today may be a dud for you next year. Getting fitted by a knowledgeable salesperson is essential. (Just posted this on fb & thought I should share here too!)

One of the very few places that carry Altras. The only show I'll wear now. Zero drop shoe with a wide toe box helps my back and I'm thankful that this place carries them in town.

I went to this Fleet Feet store to return a wedding gift with a gift receipt — Unfortunately, because it was past their 30-day return window, they refused to take it back even for store credit.
As anyone who’s planned a wedding knows, it takes time to go through all the gifts. It’s frustrating and unreasonable that they don’t offer any flexibility, especially for gifts with a receipt. Most stores would at least offer store credit in situations like this.
I wouldn’t recommend Fleet Feet if you’re buying a gift for someone. Their return policy is far too rigid, and the lack of basic customer courtesy was disappointing.

I had a great experience at Fleet Feet and it’s all thanks to Irma! She was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She literally spent two hours with me to find the perfect running shoes. I must’ve tried on at least 30 pairs, and not once did she rush me or make me feel like a burden. She listened to my needs, explained the differences between each option, and truly went above and beyond to make sure I left with something that felt just right. . If you’re looking for someone who is professional and genuinely cares and knows her stuff, ask for Irma!
