Pretty quick in and out but prices and selection leave lots to be desired

The prices are outrageous and the selection is freaking terrible. The store is small and looks dinghy. I only go here if someone else is driving. Don't waste your time.

honestly, the reviews were right, cashiers are always in a bad mood, before I payed the employee was helping a older guy and she literally thru his change, most of his change fell and she didn’t even bother to help him pick it up, then she helped me and she kept making faces, I’ve always told people if you don’t like your job don’t work
There!! can’t remember her name but she was an older lady with glasses on .

I am a wheelchair bound lady with a service dog I have been going to this store for a long time with my service dog. I went in last week with my service dog and the security guard service dogs are not allowed and they have a sign out front saying that and I need a vest for my dog. And then ask him if I could speak to the manager, the manager told me the same thing and told me he need to see my certificate. I informed them that Texas law states that they are only allowed to ask if my dog was a service dog and what service it does. Texas law state that you do not have to have a certificate or vest for a service dog in Texas. It was an embarrassing situation for me and it also let me know that food city does not train their managers. I drove from another city to come to this store and I was refused entrance all because their manager does not know Texas law. This store will be reported. Veterans and disabled people if you have a service dog do not go to Food City on Aldine Mail Route because they have a sign outside says no dogs allowed and they refuse to let you in if you have a service dog. If you are denied entrance into this store with your service dog please call get a police report, file a claim with Department of Justice, America Disability Act, and file a civil lawsuit. I tried to tell manager it was illegal and I also Google it on my phone to show them. They must be stopped!!

Besides their prices being higher than other grocery stores there's nothing really bad to say about this store. I only shop here if I need something for a dish I'm making and don't feel like driving all the way to Humble or to Little York.

I always come here and I came to buy some sodas because they are a dollar and like I always come because it’s close by my house and the manager she was talking about us she has no shame , we were in front and I was just looking at her don’t buy here I’m not coming back again the manager is very disrespectful she was talking bad about me and my family to the security guard like if you don’t want to sell just say that we are keeping this store in business .
