Fantastic locally owned, fresh from the farm, produce and other things! REAL ones! Not the chain style grocery! Prices are extremely reasonable!Variety changes all the time and based on the season. Picked and restocked daily. This is where I go for all my fresh veggies, eggs, and other real food! For a small store they have a great selection, especially if you're going a couple times a week. Always something different!

I'm so impressed with this little grocery store. The food was very reasonably priced and fresh. I bought some orange pepper seasoning and some teas. I didn't know they had a bulk section. I will be back when I need rice and roasted peanuts. Everyone was so friendly.

Grateful to have somewhere to buy fresh produce outside of HEB and sprouts. Prices are reasonable. This business is black-owned. The owners is very knowledgeable about the source of products that’s is be sold. It’s nice to have somewhere to buy holistic products, produce and meat. The days opened Wednesday-Sunday which is a bit challenging for my schedule to get in but I’ve been trying to make it a habit to visit at least once a month at different times of the day.The store is trying to eliminate the food desert in the south side community from sunnyside, to MLK. They are 18 min drive from TSU and UH. The parking lot might be confusing if you are not familiar with the area but once you enter it’s straight back. This farmer owned as well.

So happy they're in my neighborhood. Was about to run out of organic lemons and was dreading the drive to HEB. Welcome!

Their communication is very poor. The number listed is no longer in service. I messaged them through IG twice and made a post on their page. Still no response no nothing. My last and final attempt my friend and I drove in the hot sweltering sun. Just to arrive to a business that never existed at the listed location in the first place. I was extremely excited to support a black business but....I was let down.

UPDATE: Yep, they did it again!!! I had such a grand experience that I had to go back with my family who came to visit me from New Orleans. They truly enjoyed their experience and I will be returning yet again with another group of folks soon

Enjoyed buying fresh double yoked eggs. Can't get them anymore. Been going for months and they don't have any.

The people I interacted with (I think it was the owners) were nice :) I was able to get produce at an affordable price. Suggestions: I advise going earlier in the week (ex. Wed, Thurs, Fri) to shop and/or calling in if you are looking for a specific item, as availability can vary. Overall, I think it's great they are bringing fresh farm grown food to their community. They also sell canned good, pickled items, honey, sea moss, etc. :) Its pretty neat.

Lovely customer service, beautify produce, and unique artisan wears for you to indulge in supporting Black business and local too. Prairie View A&M graduates are changing urban farming and fighting food insecurity in a Houston low-income community. The Sunnyside community's Fresh Houwse Supermarket now offers healthful food to underserved areas. Bought ground habanero peppers, habanero honey, a stunning patch, and pollen. I wish I had a supermarket like this in my neighborhood growing up. Kufis and delicious blessings. Can't wait to visit in my next trip and buy some fresh organic produce to cook.
