Big rip off on trade in. I sold them my 2 Tb Xbox One S. The online quote was $80, I called ahead to double check what they expected me to bring and they said controller, power cord, hdmi, and obviously console. I take everything down there but I had brought a brand new wired controller. That's when they tell me the trade in requires a wireless controller ( they never said wireless over the phone), so to make the trade in work I would have to buy a wireless from them to go with it. This brought it to $54. Then we get all the way to checkout finally, and that's when he says " sorry, the coupon we applied to the controller you had to buy only applies to trade in for store credit. So now you're looking at $29." So my quote dropped $50. The guy helping me was new, and the manager left the store right when he started checking out the console, so he had no one to ask for help, and I had no way to find out if he might have missed something or entered the controller in wrong, because it was the manager that said it would be 40% less due to not having a wireless controller. ( they were paying me $7 separately for the brand new wired controller, so they actually paid $22 for the console, hdmi, and power cord..$15 more for a 2 Tb console than a wired PDP controller! I was in a bind and out of time, but still wish I would have taken the xbox and left.

The guys at the counter were pretty funny and helpful.
The store is pretty much the same as all other game stops.
Went there for the Pokemon TCG pre-release but it was unfortunately cancelled. Bought a used game for the road, it was cheap and it works.

Rapey sales tactic by this GameStop.
"Assumptive Approach", if you will.
In other words, customers not noticing GameStop sliding in "warranties" etc. is assumed as giving consent.
Immediately noticed the total was wrong & had to listen to 3 min of degeneracy.
He removed it.
K thx, I hated this, lol

The main bigger dude that works here with long blondish hair is incredibly rude. Purposely striking up random conversations with people while there is a line and 10+ people in the tiny store. Also- The brunette girl that works here is pretty useless. There were multiple people in line while the guy was talking for 10 minutes to someone about his dad’s business- and no one was being helped. At all. I just wanted to buy a shirt. Glad I didn’t waste my money here. Considering I’ve just read at least 3 reviews talking about how rude he is in the last month or 2- maybe fire him. Like seriously he needs to not be working in customer service he is a mean person. Not a good guy.

I agree with some of the recent comments on here. The dude is condescending and made unnecessary comments to me about a game I wanted that was sold out today. As I was leaving the store, he called after me "that's what happens when you don't pre-order". He needs to either adjust his attitude or go.

I recently visited this GameStop store and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the store boasts an impressive selection of collectible figures. They offer a diverse range of items from various pop culture phenomena, current trending shows, and anime. The variety and quality of the figures were quite satisfying and made browsing enjoyable.
However, my experience took a downturn at checkout. Initially, the staff member at the counter was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, this changed when he began pushing a membership renewal for the Pro Membership. While I understand that staff are required to offer such memberships, his attitude shifted noticeably after I declined a second time. What started as a polite interaction turned into a condescending tone, which left a sour note on my visit.

Willie is by far the most exceptional GameStop employee I have ever met. Every time I come into the shop, he is ready to answer any of my questions. He has even recommended me some games that I became very interested about and purchased. This is the only GameStop I trust because everyone who works here is honest and very easy to talk to. As long as GameStop keeps employees like Willie, I will continue to purchase from and support GameStop as a whole because us gamers are a very community involved culture and would love to have made a friend or two along the way at each store.

My brother and I had came in because he was looking for a new mouse pad. The price was said to be around $18 dollars plus tax and I had lent him more money so he could be able to complete the purchase. Once we got to the register, the employee had said the price was around $16 but my brother had just gave him the money he counted before hand since he gets nervous talking to new people. Instead of nicely saying “ hey, you gave me three more dollars than you need to”, he slams the money on the counter and starts counting in his face implying that he doesn’t know how to count. My brother then proceeds to give him his phone number, in which he doesn’t clearly remember the digits. The employee then lays his head on his palm while on the counter like he had lost his patience. My brother then says to forget it and that he’ll just get his item because he felt embarrassed by the way the employee was acting towards him. Once the transaction is over, he is left with ¢83. Instead of just telling him, “your change is ¢83 and hope you have a nice day”, he tells him “ it’s ¢83 and don’t worry, i counted them for you” in a mocking tone. My brother is just standing there like “…”. Before he gave him the bag, he sighed and told him to have a “nice day”. As someone in customer service, I’m against being rude to the people that are giving you service but i think it is necessary in situations like there and wish we could have said something. Do not go to this location unless you want to be humiliated and discriminated.
