Stopped by the shop for the third time to acquire some additional gifts to take home for our friends. The owner was very gracious and helpful. There is a great selection of gifts for any age. I would highly recommend these two shops. We visited both and had the same pleasant experience at each.

I live in Kansas and I had a young family member who had major surgery there in Houston TX. Tabby, the owner of "Gifts of Texas" did everything humanly possible to help me get the right gift for my nephew. "Gifts of Texas" has a variety of nice items and souvenirs. Tabby went above and beyond. The gift brightened my nephew's day. It makes my heart glad to know that there are still caring people in the world.

Very nice, family run store. Super friendly and affordable gifts/souvenirs. New location behind the skating ring and in front of the elevator! Open space!

Only gift shop for souvenirs was in the mall or drive over 25 miles away. Shot glasses were expensive compared to other states that sell them. Not a lot of Houston items to choose from but the only one available.

The woman who was working was really rude, after purchasing a lot of gifts I find out it’s cheaper at the airport by half price and they have much more stuff.I attached pic of the airport spot.

This place was EXTREMELY difficult to find. The photos that are currently here are not accurate. We had to call to find them by the food court and it was a sad souvenir shop. No sweatshirts, t-shirts, keychains or anything. We had to leave Houston without any items to take back to our families.

It was my first time going to Houston. Looking for some souvenirs at the mall. I stumbled upon the Gift of Texas. Found me some cute souvenirs and had amazing customer service. The lady at the counter was friendly and nice. We took pictures. If it’s your first time going to Houston and looking for souvenir, I recommend Gift of Texas.

I called the day of and they confirmed they were open until 8PM. Went there by 730 and they were closed, with a sign directing to a second floor location. That location was non-existent. Waste of time going back and forth. If you are going to run a business, run it professionally. Not like a 3rd grade lemonade stand that wraps up for the day when you get hungry or cartoons come on.

Went to get a gift for my nephew and my total for the bib including tax was $8.65. They do have a small sign at the register that says no credit card less than $10. My husband and I only had $4 in cash, so I asked her if it was close enough to still buy since it wasn’t like a $2 keychain. The woman at the counter suggested we buy a drink to meet the minimum. We said passed drink, and pretty much asked if it was between not selling it and us walking away and she was perfectly fine losing the sale. Not a good business model for a small business like that. Disappointed we didn’t get to buy the bib, but not worth the hassle. Hope the owner sees this and knows sales are being lost.
