I liked the instructor and dive master (doug and Juan) but their front office is a mess.Took them over an hour to get our gear rented out to us so we can start class.

We have been diving for many years and have been to many dive shops. This one has the best selection of offerings to my recollection. Great gear, great trips and great people!

These people do not know Poseidon regulators, and they do not give a damn. I have numerous issues with getting my regulators serviced here. My order was, break down a doubles long-hose configuration, replace hoses with rubber ones and attach the two second stages to a new Poseidon Black first stage (which they were to order). I also wanted to upgrade the console to a three-spot one from the two-spot one I have. Prior to even getting into the nitty-gritty, the owner tried to sell me a regulator, I came in to spend a few hundred bucks but he wanted to make almost two thousand on this mark instead. I told him I was not interested right from the start, but he continued on for about twenty-odd minutes trying to sell me on the idea of sidemount and the benefits of a turret. I have done technical diving with doubles and a deco bottle before, but my number of technical dives is less than twenty. This guy tries to hold me upside down and shake me until money comes out.The first issue I had was there was a lady working there who never bothered to listen to what I was asking to have done, I repeated myself three times before I even left the store. I am not sure this lady even knows how to breathe, when she did actually call and leave a message she just left her name NOT the company she works for. I actually did remember her name though, because she was so incompetent (think bad Home Depot employee).Second issue, the staff, other than the owner, is not trained to order parts; it took about an hour just to get the order put into the register. I called them about a week after the month service time initially quoted, but the technician had no idea what I was talking to and was going to ask me to repeat myself yet again. At this point I asked for the owner and chewed him out. He managed to talk me down, mostly because they already had my equipment and already had five weeks (and a new first stage) invested in them. Admittedly, I was furious with them at this point, sick to death of repeating myself in vain.I called them about a week and a half after chewing the owner out, and my regulators were supposedly ready. When I went to retrieve my regulators I received another unwelcome surprise that they had ordered a standard Poseidon Deep Black Extreme (with a metal-colored housing) rather than the Poseidon Deep Black Extreme (with a black-colored housing). Their excuse was the descriptions are the same, well the prices are not the same and the part number sure as heck is not the same. This tells me that not only did they not check the part number when they ordered, but even worse, the technician did not check the part number when he/she/it performed the maintenance. Nobody reviewed the ticket prior to confirming the order was ready either, nobody gives a damn, or worse is competent enough to check. A lady, same last name as owner, offered to call Poseidon on Monday to try and get another special edition first stage to replace the one they misordered. However, I bought one of the last two special editions to match the one this illustrious shop was supposed to order for me. Now I have mismatched regulators, but I think a better store might be able to help me resolve Gigglin' Marlin's mistakes. I told them I am never coming back and just want my regulators, which they gave me. The lady did offer to mail the fixed regulators to me, but at this point I was completely out of patience and have doubts they could even mail the regulator to the right place....I also doubt the service quality of the job, so I am paying another shop to check their work. The logic is, if they lack sufficient attention to detail to check a part number then what chance do they have with checking a critical seal or seal surface on a regulator component?The reason this is not a one star is I do not think they overcharged, and the owner took his well-deserved scolding well (I swore at him, yelled and talked poorly about his employees). I have seen "Diver's Ready's" comments on You tube about what what an ruse the "Padi five-star rating"

The instructors are all amazing. They want to be there and help your child learn how to swim. Coach Q and Coach K have been great. My only complaint is the receptionist Morgan. She’s very unprofessional and rude over the phone. Every time I walk in, she’s slouch down on the desk with her head down or on her phone. They need to either teach her professionalism as being the receptionist, or get a new one that actually looks like she wants to be there.

Don’t bother booking. They are happy to take your money but will not fulfil the service you pay for. Voucher was purchased and when calling to redeem they refuse to accept it, despite calling to redeem before the expiration date.Absolute con!

Great place. They hosted a live show called 'The Red Speedo' For a new company of actors it was greatThe swim pool is large and clean. Parking was limited for the show.Kudos to the theatre people who performed and the people administration. Very nice people

Okay the instructor was fantastic and the experience was amazing, but whoever answers their phones is completely unhelpful and rude. I was given the wrong information and told to go to their website when I called. I called back on another day when she wasn't there and got some good help. Five stars anyway because the actual diving part was perfect and that's what you're here for!We went there for a SCUBA discovery. If you decide to do their discovery, make sure you have a few hundred bucks in your back pocket because it's such an incredible experience that you are going to want to pursue certification so you can do it again! We were given very clear instructions on everything and he had us practice all of the essential skills in the shallow end before we went deeper. He had a very good way of explaining things. I was going to just come here for the discovery and get the certification closer to home but I think coming here is worth the drive to get quality instructions. He had a ton of personal tips and dive sites suggestions too. Great guy, great place! Do not judge them by their receptionist.

Was forced to book swim classes here when all other classes were full during summer. Don't do it - better to wait than waste money and time. Unprofessional, inattentive, and uninformed staff. I learned nothing. They wasted my time telling jokes I did not want to hear and having constant sidebar conversations. Also, office staff did not communicate w swim instructors so I'd come in and there would be confusion about what to do with me.

This was lotsa fun for me & my daughters (18 & 14)... Barbara & Tonya were very helpful with accepting my expired Groupon (was outta country for over a month & didn't get a chance to visit before the expiration date). Our instructors, Dean & Ashley, were really good & fun to learn with.. they had us into the 15' deep end of their bada$$ indoor heated pool within about an hour of teaching us some basic skills... highly recommend this as a fun family activity!

Omar is a wonderful person and great coach! He goes above and beyond for my kids, who were a bit resistant to swimming at first. He is highly skilled and great at connecting with kids of all ages. We’re so happy we found Omar!

They really should consider having employees wear an identifying t shirt or badge and have people stationed at the register and present on the sales floor. I felt like I could have shoplifted half the store without anybody ever noticing. Aside from that, it’s a nice place.
