Great haircut last week. I have been going to the Meyerland location for a few years now. Basic Men’s cut. Great value at $18. Even better when you catch a $7.99 cut coupon on social media. I will go again in two weeks.

The location in Houston I visited was in Meyerland at 4960 Beechnut St, Houston Tx. My hairdresser’s name was Riley. She is the #1 reason I am writing this review. She was absolutely incredible! She treated me as if I were her only customer. She took time to really listen to what I wanted and she figured it all out giving me her professional opinion which I appreciated. She became familiar with my hair and we discussed every detail before she made one clip. The salon was very clean and all the other staff were very friendly and welcoming. You are very fortunate to have her working as one of your stylists! Definitely coming back to this location and will let others know.

The stylist are great at their jobs, very clean and tidy establishment, wonderful customer service, not rude at all. I just don't understand the negative reviews. I have cut my hair for two years and never had a bad experience. Keep up the great work.

I came kind of late at 7:35 but the door was already locked. If they woulda have let me talk to them I woulda explained how I thought I could give myself a hair cut before work earlier this morning and I just needed help cleaning it up. It’s now about to be. 8 and one stylist is just sitting in a chair and the other one has been just talking at the register. My hair cut coulda been done in like 10 min. I even called at 7:30 to let them know I was coming and they just let the phone ring. I’m super disappointed I’ve come her plenty over the years and it’s not like I had a lot of hair left to have to deal with anyways. Guess it’s another hat day tomorrow.

Worst haircut I’ve ever had.Very worst stylists.Very rude behaviour towards customers.Doesn’t value customer opinions..Please don’t ever go to that particular meyerland great clips.

I was so timid coming to a franchise instead of a barber. I was afraid the place would lack ethnic employees who didn’t know how to work with our texture. However Monte not only got us right he has the best eyebrows I ever seen!!!! ?????

Worst experience ever at a Great Clips. I will never go back there ever again. The ladies who worked there were extremely tide and horrible to me. The sign there says a shampoo says $8.00 dollars. This was all I needed today. It does not say anywhere that you have to get a haircut with it. In my hometown I shampoo my hair there every week. They tried telling me they don't do that here. She went ahead and did it but was very rough with me. She barely got me to her chair and one swipe of the towel and announced she was done and walked away to the register to expect me to follow behind. I have never felt so bad in my life. I have never been treated like that in my life.

Convenient location and fairly easy to get in. Stylists for the most part are fine for a straight up hair cut. some are better than others. I can overlook that part as i'm not very particular with styling.There are 2 particular staff, not friendly is an under statement. Last time I visited, the person ringing me up was extremely rude. All I wanted to do was to used my gift card I purchased. I took a picture of the card so i don't have to carry the card. It works by just scanning the bar code and entering the card number after. I have done this for at least the past 3 years, with 2 different payment system (I think), and never had an issue.This particular staff member (I have the name but won't share it here), without even trying, straight up told me it won't work. I mentioned to her that it worked just fine in the past year for me, and she proceeded to get very annoyed at me and said it wont. I asked her to just try it once, if it doesn't work, I'll just pay for it. She then told me she had to call her manager. She got someone on the phone, complained about customers wanting to use gift card and being rude for a bit. Long story short, we tried it once, and it worked the first time. After payment, she continues to talk loudly on the phone with "The manager" and with other customers in the lobby, complaining about customers being disrespectful, telling her how to do her job, etc...I really don't understand her reaction. Other staff members appeared to be afraid of her. I looked at other customers just as a gut check to see perhaps I said something, and didn't appear so. The entire ordeal is just very bizarre. I have used up my gift card, not sure if i want to be back to get berated... I do feel bad for the other staff tho that are genuinely friendly and professional.Summary: can be a great convenient place for a hair cut if you know who you're working with.

The word that comes to my mind when I think of this store is “WORST” wish there was a superlative degree. Donno the name of the lady but she would be ranked least for customer service on planet earth
