I usually LOVE HEB, but this location left MUCH to be desired. It was in a residential area and even the LYFT driver told us "This is the most Ghetto store in this area". It was HEB because they had most of the items I love from this company. The store inside was dirty, the layout was so mixed up, and things like the deli, fresh meat counter, bakery and beauty/pharmacy were no where to be found. The staff was fine but there were few shopping carts, no shopping baskets. It was like a Twilight Zone HEB...

I like this store and the great service I receive there whenever I visit. The young clerks there go over and above. I appreciate them so much. They are closing when the store on 288 opens. I am going to miss them.

Its a nice place to shop!! Just so many gettho customers!! But other than that i can deal with it. Long ad they stay in their lane and you in yours, then you'll be good. Great prices and better selection of food than they had a yeAr ago.

Cashiers do not acknowledge customers. No help at all. I'll be glad when the new one opens on MacGregor and 288. The cashiers at Gulfgate even help my mom with her groceries. HEB Scott is a joke. I hope I do not see any of the workers at the new one when it opens.

Used to love going to HEB in Spring Area. Moved to med center and was eagerly anticipating another grocery run at my favorite place. This is a FAR CRY front the HEB's I've been to.

Between Joe Vs and HEB these are my stores I save money. And HEB with the buy one get one free. Who can beat that? Of course Joe V's have HEB products but if I want the deals on HEB product. I go straight to the source.

I give it a 2 stars because, they really need to do better with some of the young cashiers they hire, with their abrasive attitudes and snarky comments they really need to retrain them on the basics of customer service, and being friendly. I do love some of the older cashiers who have been their for years because they know how to greet and treat their customers, maybe management needs to have them train the younger ones. The prices are decent but it is never enough cashiers for those long ass lines. You would think being in the neighborhood for so long, that they would do better, but no wrong!

I'm usually an HEB fan, and if I have the choice, I tend to choose them over the competition. This time, however, I was sorely disappointed. The moment I walked in, the smell of rotting produce assaulted my nostrils. To add insult to injury, when I went to the dog food aisle to make sure my pups have some dinner, I was shocked to discover that this HEB doesn't even stock a complete line of its own pet products, so I had to pick some random food for Buddy (sorry, little guy. You don't deserve the diarrhea). Anyway, most HEBs are perfectly wonderful, but this one is a firm avoid at all costs. Seriously, guys. The rotting fruit smelled so bad, and I'm normally not super sensitive to smell. Just no.

Good only for basic essentials. Not alot of options, whole place smells and is falling apart. If you just need like a box of cereal or some sugar or something really simple it's a good option

The store is fine it's employees. I get everyone has rough days, but they're attitudes and customer service is horrendous. Ask for fresh air and get your thoughts together. The store gets 4 stars but it's employees get none

This is the worst grocery store that I've ever been to. It couldn't be more ghetto. People drive irrationally, park there cars in front of the store in the middle of the road and just walk in. The store is filthy with flies sitting on the meats. I would never be caught here again and would be VERY AFRAID at night. I'm from Los Angeles and still felt intimidated here. Go anywhere but here. I can't believe this is a HEB. Go to central market you will be happier. Guaranteed.

I have never posted a yelp review but I am so fed up with this HEB location I just had to voice my frustrations. I've been coming to this location since I was a child and it has never been great but it has absolutely gone downhill in recent years. I can accept that the selection here is not nearly as wide as other HEB locations. I can even accept the ridiculously long lines but what I refuse to accept is the poor customer service. The cashiers here are all relatively young but that is no excuse. They do not open their mouths to speak to customer BUT WILL HOLD WHOLE CONVERSATIONS WITH EACH OTHER as they check customers out. I actually had one that left her station when it was my turn to check out to hand another employee (who looked to be her superior) money to go get her lunch. If this was a quick interaction or if she apologized when she returned, it could be forgiven but they held a whole (playful) conversation and then came back without speaking a word. I guess she felt she had some extra time since this was one of the rare times the line wasn't down the aisle. Behavior like this would not be acceptable at my place of work and I don't even work with the public so it should definitely not be accepted in a job where you're constantly interact with customers. This behavior is only acceptable because of the demographics of the customers this particular HEB serves and I am absolutely over it. I will be taking my business to Aldi, Krogers or I'll even make the trip to the HEB in Pearland but I will continue to voice my concerns until I get a response because there are a lot of people in this neighborhood who have no choice but to patronize this location.

I want to thank HEB for eliminating a food desert. This location is considered small and the layout can have poor circulation when real busy for some that shop here regularly. At times they don't have enough lanes open to handle the amount of traffic they get at times. The staff is always courteous and they always have what I need in stock.

I am new to Texas but heb is amazing overall. Prices are very good, food is fresh, and service is really great. I enjoy how they have multiple food tastings throughout the store. They should really expand to other states and make groceries more competitive. Thanks!

HEB is a nice total go to the only problem is they ain't got enough cash registers open yet but they very nice and they treat you nice and it helped you any kind of way they can help you find what you need H-E-B the real good store I like it.
