Literally the best grocery store in the United States. Wide variety of good products. Everything is clean. They have plenty of cash registers to check you out even at the busiest times of day. Friendly good service

I was at the self-serve this morning. The cute HEB young lady noticed that my bag had split while I was filling it, I didn't know. As I stepped away from the machine, she was right there (at the ready) to help me with a bag, in hand. I love this store. The best employees!

Usually love this HEB. Always clean and stocked up. But inventory needs to be done. I should have checked the expiration date on this protein milk for toddlers. But I trusted the place would have some QC. Especially with products for kids.
This milk has been expired since MARCH. Please double check your products are still good to sell to consumers to keep someone from getting sick.
Milk was clumpy and obviously expired, but our son drank a sip of it.

I have been quite disappointed in H‑E‑B’s extreme price hikes. Yes yes I know prices are going up everywhere. I have noted many of the items I buy regularly have increased 50% or more in just a couple of years, though. I would think these extremes are not necessary. H‑E‑B is so popular now that their booming success could be used to mitigate price increases ??♂️
On a better note, I want to acknowledge a young man who regularly works at the self checkout named Alex. He’s personable, friendly, and has a big personality that truly lightens my day. He is one of the only friendly young workers at the CLC Blvd location and he deserves some recognition. I can imagine working at H‑E‑B is hard particularly if it’s your first or second job. I can excuse some grumpy teens in light of this. But Mr. Alex stands out.

Awful produce! Strawberries have mold on them, bagged salads are rotten before we even get home. This is extremely disappointing as we spend a lot of money here yet have to throw out so much. And yes I know we can go back and exchange it but that becomes a bit tedious to do when we have to work and don’t have time during the week. We shouldn’t have to be constantly going back to exchange rotten food.
