The seafood department is great, there is a young man working there that knows a lot and he is so helpful, but I forgot his name!
Clean store. Helpful employees. Descent prices. Parking lot is a bit crazy.

I went to HEB yesterday to get ice for someone without electricity. I got the ice and went to the self checkout to pay. I paid and went out the doors when my cart stopped moving. Confused looking to see if I ran over something, noticed two HEB employees yelling for me stop. I was rushed by employees and one on the cart and the other looking in my purse asking for my receipt. Seeing her looking in my purse I grabbed the receipt and said here. Nothing in my cart but 2 bags of ice and my purse. Totally embarrassed and humiliated for being detained. Called and spoke with manager Niko who defended employees actions and didn’t bother to offer an apology.
Well after the message from HEB to call them, I did July 16,2024 and after they got my information again. They said someone would get back to me in 3 to 5 business days. I guess their business day are different than most because today is August 2. No real follow through, they really don't care that I was unlawful detained and humiliated.

All HEBs lock one door of entry after a certain time of night, but yall block one of the 2 pathways to enter the store by a wall of whatever shelf you decide to out up blocking the CONVENIENT PATHWAY! The only other way is to go trough the registers and bumping into everyone trying to leave/check out (either the self check out or one's with a employee). And a person cannot even do that comfortably because there is almost always a rude employee telling someone not to go trough one of the only entryways! I'm sure that's not a safe and can be problematic. I will provide pics next time I visit this HEB.
FUNNY THING IS YOUR MANAGERS IS NAVY BLUE EVEN STSTED THIS PRACTICE COULD BE A FIREMARSHALL ISSUE.
DO BETTER. AND OPEN ALL PATHWAYS!

BEAR CREEK LOCATION…. Horrible customer service and they STOLE FROM ME! I placed a late order for delivery when I notice my son was almost out of formula. I ordered the Enfamil Gentlease 19.9oz (the purple can). When I saw they substituted it for the regular one, I immediately called the store and no one answered. When I received the order it was the yellow can, which is just the regular Enfamil. ( NO GENTLEASE) (2 TOTALLY DIFFERENT FORMULAS). I guess they were trying to go home since it was almost closing time. Idk! So I called as soon as I woke up the next morning. The girl who answered the phone was very nice but she couldn’t help me so she went and got the manager. The lady that came to the phone was rude as hell. She straight up said, I ordered substitutions and they substituted so I had to keep it. I told her I was not keeping it because not only is that NOT the product I purchased but my son is a micro-premmie and he could only drink ONE formula without it affecting his belly. So she said, we’ll bring me that one you have and I’ll exchange it to the correct one. I said, I just had major surgery and I’m not able to drive, lift and barely walk and she said well that’s all she can do for me, if I would return it to the store. I replied, I never got it from the store you guys delivered it to me so if you could come get it, I would definitely give it to you for exchange of the correct one. She said, no she couldn’t help me and was literally acting as if I messed up the order, when I ordered correctly and THEY sent the wrong formula. So I called the 800 number and requested a supervisor. The supervisor on the phone said he would call the store on my behalf because that’s a simple error they can fix. He eventually calls back and says, that lady won’t budge I offered plenty of solutions and she said, no to them all. I asked him, does that make sense to you what she’s saying and he also said no and he would get me in touch with the store manager if he could. He said he can’t override the store’s decision and he’s sorry she he couldn’t help with this. So he transferred me to Dustin. I explained to Dustin what was going on and he said, let me check the shelf and get back with you. He comes back to the phone and says we have the smaller version of it and I said that’s perfect. He said, I can send you 2 since you ordered the 19.9 and this is the 12. I said, that would be great! He said let me walk over to curbside and get this delivered to you. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! THANK YOU DUSTIN. So the formula gets delivered within the next 2 hours and they only sent ONE formula of the 12oz not 2 as promised nor did THEY DID REFUND ME FOR THE DIFFERENCE SINCE I NOW HAVE THE 12oz and I PURCHASED THE 19oz. THATS STEALING. Also, if you have a cheaper version of THE PRODUCT I ORDERED THEN SEND THAT ONE, NOT A DIFFERENT BRAND. It’s always issues with THE MANAGERS AT THIS H‑E‑B. IT DEFINITELY SCREAMS THEY NEED MORE TRAINING ON HOW TO TREAT THE PEOPLE WHO KEEP THEM EMPLOYED.
Again, DUSTIN, Thank you for listening to the issue, seeing where the problem was and fixing it right away! I just wish you would have followed through because they only sent me 1 can of formula. Either way ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ for you

This HEB locks its front doors at 7 o'clock cause massive congestion at front doors as there is only one front entrance. It becomes overwhelming and dangerous in my opinion. Store closes at 11pm why are they closing this door 4 hours early? What if there is an emergency when I'm trying to shop with my family. I notified management and they argued that there are other emergency exits in building

No problem finding hair care products. Quick in and out using the self checkout. Glad to know there is an HEB nearby when I visit my daughter.
