While my experiences in heb are usually very good, this one smelled like fish in the entire store. it is very off-putting and did not leave me with a very good shopping experience.

The customer rep Jannet [Yannet] is not a respectable, polite employee. For the first time in my life, I had the shopper's cart lock on me after paying from self-checkout. Not knowing exactly what was going on and not being a thief, I continuously continued to attempt to get the cart in motion. Here comes Jannet with demons and disrespect in her, sizing me up as if I stole something; never explaining what was going on. She just rudely asked for my receipt and I hesitated to provide it. She meagerly explained "whenever it locks up, we need to see receipts..." Just lazy and unprofessional way of explaining. I asked her if someone manually had the capabilities to lock my cart, and she lied and said no. She had that fake air of superiority as if she pretended to be superior over me... never could she be.
Being me, I asked/called to speak with a manager. The rep I spoke to seemed genuine and explained further what was going on and admitted they had manual capabilities to lock one's cart. Hopefully she is truly a genuine person and remains as such, and not faking it. Anyway, she put the manager on the phone. The manager further explained the ordeal and explained they were having technical issues, specifically with the checkout registers. I appreciated the explanation and informed her I would walk back into the store to confront that Jannet person. Jannet again was rude and jezebelic- just could not take accountability.
I asked the manager if the work order for the issue had already been initiated since she said they had had these issues for some time, which she said she would have to put it in. I informed her that all employees should know protocol and should be able to explain to customers in a professional manner and attempt to professionally resolve issues that may arise. I also brought up the issue of race, which I know for a fact contributed to Jannet's demonic behavior.
I'm just hoping the manager properly corrects the bad apple there and does not try to take the employee's side, playing the mammy role. If there are other bad seeds there and they don't display professionalism, I will also add them to this list.

Worst experienced ever!
After confirming an item availability and asked to placed it on HOLD by manager Andre, drove 35mins and when arrived they said we don't even carry that item here!

First time there because my GPS screwed up, I was soppoingly going to Krogers but since I was already at high prices HEB I had to spend $10 more for what Kroger prices are way better, NO MORE HEB for m?

I went to the deli counter for 3/4 lb of pastrami sliced thin to a 1, the woman (I didnt note her name, which i now regret) sliced my most and came back to weigh it and it was only 0.68 lb sp she went back to get another slice for me. While this was happening, a fly on top of the top slice on the scale and when the deli employee came back and saw it she didn't skip a beat. She saw it, picked up the slice and threw it in the trash, placed the new slice on top, then went back to the slicer and got me a new new slice to put on top of the new one, bagged it and handed it to me. 1000% quality control. This is why I shop at HEB. THANK YOU!

employees talking to each other while they're trying to scan my items I don't appreciate they make mistakes and all they can say is I'm sorry later If I hadn't looked I would haver been over charged $6 and they were talking to each other and I said Stop! and check me out then maybe get ea others ph no.
