I’ve had custom shirts made by multiple companies and this is by far the best fit I’ve ever had. Price is higher but worth it in my opinion. Plus they under promise and over deliver on customer service expectations. Very happy customer.

Great shirts. Price is high, but the quality is second to none. Staff is very accommodating as well.

I took my son in to have some custom shirts made because he is very tall and slender. There professionalism was incredible! As a walk-in they were very considerate and helped us considering it is by appointment.

If the shirts were not $250, I would consider a higher rating. My primary issue is that the shirts are nearly impossible to maintain. When the shirts arrive, they are difficult to iron. Dry cleaning has been impossible. I have taken these shirts to 4 different dry cleaners. Each time they are returned without a neat dry clean appearance. These are dry cleaners that I regularly visit without issue on other shirts. One primary issue is significant creasing on the cuffs. I attempted to reach out to Hamilton for input, assuming there may be specific instructions required, and have received no response.

Overall, a somewhat disappointing experience. Background:I moved a few years ago from a coastal city and was recently looking for a new tailor in Houston. I was pretty excited to find a well regarded shirtmaker in Houston and decided to try having a shirt made for a friend's wedding before fully committing (there is a 5 shirt minimum for bespoke, where they cut a new pattern for you).Prices starts at $290, higher end fabrics for $335. MTO allows fairly limited customization. You essentially try on their ready made shirts and are only allowed to adjust collar size, sleeve length and chest size. Other basic adjustments like waist size, arm size are not allowed (they do tell you this before you commission the shirt).Pros:Good fabricPretty quick from payment to build (roughly 3 weeks for me)Good location - easy to get to and ample parkingCons:Limited customization (as above)After sales support - If you get an MTO shirt, whatever they make for you is what you get - no changes, tweaks or anything. I was a little surprised given how much Hamilton references the "Perfect Fit Guarantee" on their websiteNo in house shirt tailor - I was very confused by this. I pointed out 2 things I wanted to change and was open to paying an upcharge for alterations. I was essentially told "We don't have an inhouse shirt tailor, we only have an inhouse suit tailor. You can go to the tailor you normally use for alterations."

I cannot say enough good things about Hamilton Shirts. My husband has been getting custom shirts there for years, and the service, quality, and selection have always been top-notch.For Christmas I called, asked for a batch of shirts to be made for my husband. I gave the shop free reign with style and material based off of their notes in previous orders, and I was so excited to see what they selected. Everything was perfect.Thank you so much, Hamilton Shirts. You have a customer for life!

It’s a pretty cool thing, in a town not known for fashion sits one of the worlds oldest and best custom shirt makers.
