“I have shopped with GNC for over 30 years and recently moved to Humble/Atascosita area where I literally stumbled upon this location (Sunwood, I think) anyway I am so glad I did because Sunny the manager was an absolute pleasure to meet. He was very informative about the product I was looking for (NONI JUICE) and not only had it in stock but it was on sale and I received excellent customer service from him, which is rare nowadays! I have found my permanent GNC in this location and look forward to returning as long as he is there. IYKYK!!! Go and get that NONI JUICE YAL’L! Thank you Sunny, God bless! ”

“Purchased the vitamins I needed from the store with help from an employee. I don't remember his name but he was so helpful in showing me where everything was. I want about my business for the next several hours only to realize I couldn't find my phone. I went to the stores that I had visited and then suddenly I thought I'll go back to sprouts maybe I left my phone there. As soon as I entered the store I saw the young lady who had Halloween makeup on and carrot colored hair I don't know her name either(she's very nice also). I asked her, "did you all find a phone?" She told me yes and they had it locked up in the office and it seems like everyone was aware that a customer had inadvertently lost a very important item. So thankful for the honest employees at SPROUTS! I will definitely do more shopping here.”

“The workers here are very knowledgeable. I spent a lot of money here, but it was well deserved! I got a bunch of herbs that help with overactive thyroid, my nervous system, and immune system. They have a wide range of herbs, homemade soaps, incense, crystals, bracelets, etc. I even bought some homemade soap for my sister with sensitive skin and she loves them. I bought a bunch of bracelets too, they are very cute. Their pots and tea containers are cute too!
All in all, being a customer of los cavazos was a very pleasant experience. I will be back!”
“I feel like WF is the pinnacle of vegan grocery shopping, with unique products that are typically not offered at many chain stores. The hot food area always has several vegan options available for a quick lunch. However, it’s not very price effective compared to just getting something at a restaurant. The per lb price is usually the same as what you would spend at a modest eatery.”

I enjoy their salad & hot bar fixings! They also have a great wine and craft beer aisle selection. This location is always clean and well-stocked IMO.”
“I am the daughter of Herman and Judy Mobley, the former owners of Tri-Health, Inc. As I continue today to be an existing customer of Tri-Health, trying to live out the best nutritional practices in which my parents raised me on, I thought I would pass along a message to all the past and current customers of Tri-Health Foods. Over 45 years ago, my parents (especially my father) had a dream to share what they thought was the 3 key factors for achieving perfect health – body, mind, and soul hence the name Tri-Health. Throughout their many years of dedication, my parents desired for each and every customer who entered their store to become knowledgeable regarding their own health. My father enlightened customers, sometimes 3rd generation of customers, with his sense of humor, clever sayings, and his own life stories. Although the laughs shared and messages heard created a friendly atmosphere, the most important principle was empowering his customers to understand how the body works with nutrition, a positive mindset and a caring soul to create the ultimate well-being.
Even though change can be challenging for all of us, unfortunately as a part of life, change is inevitable. Giving customers empowerment over their own health choices through nutritional knowledge shared is still the goal of Tri-Health today. During my visits to Tri-Health, I have the pleasure to speak to the current owner along with Katherine, the original employee when the store was owned by my parents. “I am gluten intolerant and they sell ANCIENT GRAIN BREAD and so far so good. Thats why celiacs can eat the bread in Europe. It’s less processed. It’s almost impossible to find this kind of bread. The owner is very knowledgeable about health. I am definitely returning for help with weight gain !”

“It's been well over a decade since Whole Foods made its mark in Montrose and now it's become a regular haunt for me whenever I'm in the neighborhood. I have always made Whole Foods my choice grocer when it comes to their hot foods, bakery, flowers, and the occasional grocery run (#1). The store is clean, spacious, and has a spacious dedicated parking lot. The latter is an issue at some of the other stores, but there seems to always be spaces available here and the crowds are not as fierce as the once were. This has been the case for me even on the weekends and before any major holiday gathering. In terms of docking a star, it's been the little things over time: inconsistent service (#2), tough cake writing for the large chantily cakes, sometimes their hot foods station needs someone to wipe things down, and getting served behind the counter sometimes is a game of patience. These are little things, so I still come but they definitely don't go unnoticed. It's hard not to compare this location to its sister spot over in Upper Kirby, but I do think this works well for Montrose and the many inner-loopers who love the Whole Foods experience. ___________ (#1) When I want to channel my inner-Portland-organic-seeking-self while burning a hole in my wallet. (#2) A lot of associates don't seem to be all that knowledgeable on specific products versus general. When in doubt, use the self-checkout.”

They both seem to be at the typical times. Different layouts but same products. I wish they carried more staple items like Kleenex brand and others so I can avoid a trip to Target or another GC.”
“Perfect place to shop if you pay attention to what you eat, as the food is mainly organic. You will find conventional products too though, but organic products might be more affordable than other places which are mainly non organic. I like the fact that you do not have too many fancy products so you are not tempted to buy what you do not need. It is still a budget to shop there, but if you cook and plan your menus in advance, then you end saving money eating healthy.”

“They have some good deals on "clearance" section that just can't be beat, but paying for something that is literally expiring in a week for just 50% off seems high, since it's generally discarded after. Arturo helped me get a better deal by applying a 15% coupon. The rest of the items you need to buy almost in bulk to get better deal than what's available on Amazon, costco or even Walmart sometimes. Protein chips are priced 33% higher than most any grocery store. GNC is definitely a convenience and specialt vs great value. Great experience here tho.”
