This is a gorgeous bar and restaurant. It's got loads of character. We stopped in for drinks. The Woodford old fashioned is something on a different level. Her espresso martini was also really good. The service was very slow despite being virtually empty, which may explain why they were not more full on St Pat's day. All in all, I'll give them another try because it's a cool spot.

I think it was just our server. She was not friendly, didn't smile, didn't come check on us often. Next time I'll get food to go.

We had a lovely dinner and everything was prepared perfectly. The tuna nachos were a light flavorful appetizer. My salmon and my son's shrimp and sausage pasta were satisfying and both dishes met our expectations. Shout out to our server Bailey. He was attentive and very polite. Yes, we will be dining here again.

Great spot! Stopped in on a one day visit from NY & stayed for a few hours. Bartender (Isiah iirc) and Manager were super cool and friendly. Highly recommend their food. Will def be back when my work takes me to Houston again!

Ambience was great. The waiter forgot our appetizer and we received that after our meal. We ordered 2 final drinks to finish off our meal and we never got those. We weren't charged for them but that was 2 things during our dinner that were missed. The gumbo was great but the deviled eggs were just ok. Didn't care for the pickled/vinegar flavor as it over-powered the eggs. The drinks we did have were very good.

Was seated upstairs and it was packed. Plenty open spots downstairs. It appeared to be only one waitstaff. Took a very long time just to get water. Ordered drinks and food at same time. Food actually arrived before drinks. Barely saw our waitress. Both our table and the one beside us struggled to find the waitress to get our tabs for us to leave. It was disappointing.

Bad servide, good ambiance. Would come just for a drink. My girlfriend didn't enjoy her food much either unfortunately. I wanted to love this place so badly but just couldn't. Really let down.

Stopped by Hearsay for a quick drink while in Houston for work and was amazingly surprised by excellent service by the bartender Cass! We left to look around the city but nothing compared to the delicious drinks and great service of Cass. We are a group of 4 and Cass made the decision to move to Houston very easy! We can’t wait to come everyday for Cass’s old fashions and funny jokes! Best bartender we’ve had in a long time! Hats off to whoever hired her!

Date night here was amazing. Ambiance was very lively, yet sophisticated. Food was delicious. Staff and service was amazing. Lights were dimmed a bit too low later into dinner service, but that is just personal preference. Highly recommend and we will definitely dine here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first time here. The food was incredible! I ordered the scallops and redfish, and my date had great things to say about the gumbo. The scallops were cooked perfectly (this is hard to do.) All sauces on the seafood were great! Saffron cream, garlic butter, and a mysterious red sauce on the fish that I am guessing is Chile de arbor. Very tasty!I ordered a traditional gin cocktail (off menu) that was way too sweet for my tastes but that's the only thing I could "complain" about. But I drank it ?Vibe was nice.

We just stopped in on our walk around the city. We were brought inside and upstairs. Our table was quaint and the waitstaff was on top of their game. They bantered with the patrons and were quicker than a lightening flash. We had cocktails and ordered a late lunch. The ahi tuna nachos were on point. The wonton chips were crispy, the tuna was seared perfectly and the avocado was generous. The husband ordered a steak that was paired with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. His steak was cooked to his liking and the Brussels were out of this world.r food was delivered within minutes it seemed and was hot and delicious. We visited with our neighboring guests and enjoyed the camaraderie. I would recommend a visit to this little restaurant if you are out and about in Houston and want a quiet place to just enjoy a meal or cocktails.
