Horrible experience, rented the car 4 days in advance, went to the location they told me they have no car and they can not do anything, i was shocked, they ruined my whole plan, i don’t blame the employees but the whole open reservation system is rip off , is any lawyer is up to suing them to this business practice, let me know

Don't rent from this location. The employees are unprofessional. This is the worst car rental experience I've ever had. I called the day before to confirm my car rental and they stated everything was fine. When I went to the location, there were no cars available for me eventhough the day before they confirmed they had one. Go to ENTERPRISE instead, you'll have a better customer service experience.

Professional, friendly. I rented here a while ago and had a good experience then as well. James and Dante this time: both were awesome.
Advice: Double check what type of car you have reserved ( gas car vs an electric car) . I think people give bad reviews because they didnt realize they reserved an electric car.
I once rented an electric car here ( on purpose ) and it was great. If you do, listen when they tell you where to fast charge, and plan ahead of the time it will take to recharge. I did and all went well.
This time I got a usual gas car, and once again the car and customer service was awesome
Also when getting dropped off: though the address is on Louisiana, the entrance is Webster St, roughly 603 Webster St.

Staff is extremely kind, accommodating, knowledgeable. Excellent customer service. I pickup frequently from this location and it's always a good experience. Thank you Jay and Dontavien for all the times you've helped me and for making tge rental experience fast and awesome!

Bad experience with false accident claim.
I got a tersely worded letter stating I had been in an accident with a Hertz rental car; stating I owed $10K in damages and to not “ignore” the letter. I tried to call but claims adjuster wouldn’t answer. I emailed her stating it wasn’t me. She supplied a police report for a person with my name but a different DL number and DOB. I again replied it wasn’t me. Her reply was “Oh, OK”, then nothing. This all took over a week’s time of attempted phone calls and emails. How did she have MY mailing address??? You can get an address if you use the correct DL number, right? You can do a search for someone with their name and DOB, right? Why did she not apologize????

I had such a great experience with this Hertz location! The booking process was simple, the manager was very helpful and welcoming, and the pickup was quick and stress-free. The car was spotless, reliable, and exactly what I needed for my trip. I’ll definitely rent from this location again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth, hassle-free rental experience.

I had a scheduled pickup appointment at 0800 hours, but upon arrival at the location, the vehicle was not prepared. Consequently, I had to wait for over an hour before I could depart with the vehicle. Furthermore, the vehicle was not properly cleaned, as there were visible stains and an unpleasant odor present.

Horrible!!! Save yourself from the headache, me and my husband booked through Expedia and Expedia was saying no hidden fees, There Is A LOT of hidden fees, be careful. Until this day we are being charged random convenience fees. They told us that they don’t hold cars even though we paid for the car ahead of time. The staff is not emphatetic at all. Good luck

Welp. I rented a car for my fiancé and it went terribly. It was an electric car, that was the first problem, but that was all they claimed to have left. Second problem was the lack of understanding and customer service from this locations staff. After only one day of renting, we had to stop 4 times to charge the car which took 45+ minutes. We tried to go to the closest EV charge on Alabama St that was broken and there wasn’t one for another 8 miles. They said although it was almost at 80% (the standard) , they would still charge us the entire electric fee. Remind you, they have chargers on site so what would have cost them maybe $5 to charge, actually cost them a customer who lives 2 minutes away and will now drive further for a better place.

Horrible, I rented a car with confirmed booking the day before Beryl Hurricane was to hit Houston so I could drive to Dallas when I arrived the Manager told me that he didn't have the SUV car I rented, I asked for another car, he replied he had no other cars only electric, I showed him a number of other SUV at his parking lot I was told those were already taken, I told him that I was an In President Circle Gold Member and that he was supposed to find a car for me, he looked at me with this who gives a damn who are you expression in his face and told to he had no car for me and basically I could complain as much as I wanted he want give me any car and go on my way out of the store! HERTZ should be shameful for this place and the people who they employed to run it a pure disaster for Hertz car rentals brand. Stay far from this location.
