The bad:This place isn’t clean period!!!!! Our room was dirty. Hair still left on the counter, dirty grime left of the shower door. I think housekeeping does a minimum job of that. There is also highway noise so if that bothers you, don’t stay here. The shower also sucks pretty bad. Hardly any water comes out and the pressure is bad too!!!The good:Pancake machine at breakfast and parking is good.

Firstly, I’d like to say what a pleasure it was to finish an 11 hour roadtrip and get to the hotel and have everything just be…..perfect.Property looks great! I loved seeing a security person overnights. I, personally, appreciate the property owners spending the money on overnight security for the parking areas, I won’t state that the area feels like it needs it, but I certainly slept a little easier knowing my vehicle was most likely gonna be alright.Check in was awesome. Everything accurate, ready to rock and roll. EVERY employee we interacted with was warm and helpful.Especially, Mr. Tony. Tony is a delight and an asset to the hotel. He was always very kind and pleasant. Above and beyond appears to simply be the level on which this gentleman operates, and as one customer service fanatic to another, it can absolutely make or break a stay, and these folks MADE it, for us.Room was clean. Smelled clean. WiFi was plenty fast for what we needed out of it. Mini fridge worked great for holiday leftovers.All in all, fine holiday fun.Thanks for being exceptional.Rooms: Clean, spacious, everything works, directv was fast with no delays.Safety: I appreciate how CLEAN and well the property is maintained. As well as the overnight security officer. I know they aren’t cheap, but I appreciate the expense incurred for the customers and their property. Kudos!

This hotel is really convenient to Hobby Airport, it's only 9 mins away. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is professional and friendly.I had issues with getting the TV to work, but the staff came up and fixed it. Housekeeping came into my room after the first night and did light cleaning but forgot to replace the wash clothes. The shower basin didn't look so clean, but I think it's due to wear and tear. I wore shower shoes and was fine. The hotel does offer a shuttle, but I didn't use it.The hotel is located 20 to 35 mins from major attractions. If you're a shopper, I recommend checking out The Galleria Mall. The aquarium is a nice attraction for the kids.Safety: The hotel is off of the highway. A gas station is currently being built next to the hotel.

Customer service was phenomenal! I had accidentally went to the Holiday Inn & was treated like I didn’t belong.. the girl at the desk would hardly speak to me or heaven forbid make eye contact. While I was looking up my confirmation number & I was speaking to her, she decided to answer the phone. This was so rude, then without speaking to me, she looks over & starts tapping on my phone screen. Luckily I was able to see the error of my ways. LolI really appreciated pulling up at this hotel & being greater with a big smile and was checked in smoothly! Thank you for that #nicematters

I Can't wait to leave this hotel tomorrow. I've spent 10 of the last 12 weeks in Texas, staying at various hotels, 3 of which were Holiday Inn Express.I won't go in to my experience at the other 2, but at this one the front desk staff is just not helpful! I chose this place because it's close to where I am officing out of for the week. It has breakfast in the morning, and a food and snack bar that has drinks and food to take to the room.But since my work is paying for the room and my food, I need a receipt for the purchase. They apparently can't provide one, either printed, or even emailed, which means I'd have to pay for all my own expenses while here.The first night, they said they would have to make a fake receipt by ringing up all the same items I bought before, then print it without finalizing the transaction. This led me to believe they t least have a printer. But that inconvenience factor weighed much too far on their side. The second time I tried, I grabbed a bunch of food and drinks, but they said the printer was down. So I had to put it all back. The third time I asked, they just weren't sure if they could do it.As a result, I had to order out and get something delivered from uber eats which ended up being twice the price, or I would have to drive somewhere to eat. The point of staying here was convenience. So far, they have fallen short on that. How can such a big branded hotel fall so short un such a basic operation?Since I have a choice where I book, I will steer clear of Holiday Inn Express hotels moving forward.Food & drinks: Hope you're not hungry or thirsty and need a receipt!

Second time staying here at this location had a great stay the all the staff was wonderful even had a thank you card waiting in my room when I checked in last week. Only downside to this hotel is the noise from Interstate 45 so make sure you get a room on the back side of the hotel away from 45

Nice clean Hotel for the area it's located. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk personnel was helpful. However, the room did have a broken vent in the bathroom, and the battery cover for the remote was missing, and the bathroom sink had low water pressure. Other than those few minor things, the room was great. Now I gave it 2 stars for the service because the lady running the breakfast area was not accommodating at all. Breakfast runs from 7 to 10, but at 9:40, she was already putting stuff away, and her body language said she was annoyed and didn't want to be bothered by the customers that were staying there. People were still coming to eat, and she had areas blocked off and chairs up on the tables. I totally get that it's close to shutting it down, but that shouldn't start til 10AM. Aside from the fact that food, coffee, etc, should be refilled and refreshed on a smaller scale when it's getting close to closing time. Very sad to see.

Don't. Just don't. They just canceled our eight month reservation while we were in flight. Landed at the airport and called for shuttle only to find out our rooms were already rented. Prepaid room to secure a late check-in and received a "Sorry about that is a holiday weekend. You'll just have to find a room somewhere else." That is why we booked it eight months ago.

We booked months ago, got a confirmation a couple of days ago, and received a text today stating our room was ready to check in. We spent all day traveling on an airplane and called to get shuttled over to the hotel and was told they overbooked and they canceled our rooms. They knew it was a holiday weekend, why would they book more rooms than they had. We prescheduled this several months ago. We booked two rooms and have a big family group. This is so unprofessional and just wrong. We are on vacation far from home. Hotels should not be able to do this to people. We planned ahead, why can't a hotel plan ahead.

Bad start to vacation, I fly in after having these 2 rooms planned for over 8 months, I filled out confirmation a week ago, I fly in after being on a plane since 5:30am. The agent at the hotel said they tried to call, I'm on a plane. Then her excuse is that labor day weekend is why the don't have rooms. I would expect this from a flea bag hotel/motel but from holiday end. Thanks for ruining a family vacation.

Want to be yelled at and belittled by staff? (witnessed this in the lobby, wasnt us) Want to PLUNGE YOUR OWN TOILET when it stops up? Want to walk in on a stranger when they hand you the wrong room key?! We booked 4 rooms and none were ready at 4pm because they say staffing is short. These things literally happened during our stay here. I wish I could say Im shocked but just book somewhere else. This location was a mad house, although breakfast was good.

They were great. Beds soft.. Only complaint is water pressure.. There I none.The shuttle was done so they called me an Uber.. superb!
