The staff is unhelpful — bordering on surly. Interacting with customers seems bothersome.
The isles are messy.
The prices are not updated. I should have read the small print—the sale had ended the day before. I did not notice the change until checkout.
Overall. Just a sad experience.
Lowe’s is down the street. Make the better choice.

Holy shit never buy any appliances at Home Depot! This is beyond insane! We ordered a 3k fridge from them more than a month ago. The first delivery, the fridge was defective and so we did not accept the delivery and had the delivery people take it back. The replacement was scheduled for two weeks after that, so we had to patiently wait. That’s ok, it happened and we decided to just wait and gave it another shot. Second delivery, they delivered the fridge, installed it and turned it on for us. The fridge started beeping, which the delivery crew explained to us that it is normal and we need to wait for it to cool down. We believed them and decided to wait for a few hours. The delivery crew left, 24hours later the fridge was still not cooling and kept making the beeping sound. So we called the store and we were told that they need to send a technician to come in and check what is wrong. Another week went by, we are seating without a fridge and patiently waiting. The technician came, checked the fridge and found out that the delivery crew cut a wire during the installation of one of the doors so the fridge was not operational and the door had to be replaced. At this point we were furious because we were lied to and played like kids by the home depot crew. Disgusting behavior, I would expect that if you spend 3k on a piece of appliance, you would at least not get lied to and scammed into waiting for forever to get what you paid for. We are still seating around without a fridge and at the mercy of these scammers. They keep pushing back our replacement, with kindergarten excuses. The most ridiculous situation ever. Don’t ever think about going through Home Depot to get any appliance, I know it is just one case but still this is unacceptable and the way they treat you is a joke. You will be reasssured that everything will be fixed and taken care of and then you will still seat around waiting for their promises to come true and nothing will happen. I will be reporting this store to the corporate and will report this to FTC. I know it is a waste of my time but I want to make sure no one has to go through this, it is just really sad.

They don’t have people to help you load paver stones. I waited about 20 min for some guy to finally come help the cashier to place 8 large pavers on my car. They were heavy! Otherwise I would have done it. But the cashier called multiple times for help and none showed up. There was another young worker that only looked away as well as the big guy watering the plants. Is crazy!! This is Home Depot!!! please hire people that actually want to work and help your store!

Expect rude, untrained and inept employees and managers. I rented a piece of equipment and from the start the kid that come over to check in the excavator shouted at me that it’s my responsibility to unhitch the trailer. I explained that the trailer was not hitched by me and the lock was broken. The kid continued angrily to pin the blame on me. I said fine, whatever I paid for the insurance so please unhitch it or bring tools and I will do it myself. He stormed off and left me there. I went to get his manager that had the same attitude and said “google it, I don’t know what to do either.” He went on to blame me as well for breaking the lock, lying that I had hitched it myself and it was my responsibility. If you’re going to rent from this place bring your own tools, pay for insurance and expect the worst service. They act like the customer is the problem when they are clearly checking out broken equipment and expect the client to take the blame. NEVER COMING BACK HERE.
Thanks for the response, I submitted my complaint via the link provided. Case:

Been shopping here for over 45 years. This location is closer to our home. Not very pleased how the customer service has really gone down hill over the years.
Love the Home Depot at I 10 and Studewood location! Talk about service!! A bit further for our travel but worth it!!
Highly recommend the Home Depot at I 10 :)

Rental service is the worst, the employees don't appreciate it. I've been here for more than an hour to pick up a tool that is already paid online.

I'm in the bathroom and they are occupied by the workers for 25 minutes and they don't come out, they're just inside and there are older people waiting at stops, it's a bad experience.

Had a bad experience with Carl the assistant manager at this location during a return process. I made an error and gave the wrong receipt and instead of trying to help he jumped to not try and help and said he didn’t know how so he probably couldn’t help me. This would have been fine if that were the case but he was also very rude and had a whole lot of sass and attitude when none was given by me or the other employee helping me. Thankfully a more qualified, calm, and professional assistant manager Tanya came to assist and she fixed it in seconds.
As an assistant manager, maybe consider approaching difficult situations with less aggression.

Store is clearly understaffed and mismanaged.
One person working at customer service during high traffic is pretty ridiculous

Is it a requirement for the pro desk cashiers at every Home Depot to be rude and unprofessional?

I've gone to many Home Depots as a handyman for years. This place always has the rudest employees, the longest lines and the most damaged products of any Home Depot that I've ever gone to in Houston. Lowe's is half a mile away!
