Very bad attention. I was just here asking for help to buy a folder and for 20 minutes, no one helped me until I had to leave without being able to buy what I came to buy, very bad service, this place is terrible and a lot of racism.

The lady working customer service (02.05.2024 - closing shift) NEEDS A LESSON ON HOW TO PROPERLY, PROFESSIONALLY AND POLITELY.... DO HER JOB. I would drop her name. However, she never wears a name tag. I'm in this store nearly every day. And, if it's nit me she's being rude to, it's someone else (whom helps support her paycheck.) #Rude

I have never left a review for a specific employee before, but I have never met anybody working in customer service like this. I had called this location informing them I would be late to pick up my rental as I had a work conflict, and the female receptionist stated that would be fine. However, it was not. Approximately 75 minutes later I arrived to find my reservation was now cancelled. I was a bit frustrated, but luckily I was served by the greatest man. He was patient, kind, and solution oriented. Despite the process taking longer than he or I would like to become resolved, he remained calm and positive. He also had the chance to share with me a bit working his past working in intelligence and his 18 years of service. From our conversation I could tell not only was he compassionate, but also wise and very intelligent. I cannot be certain of his name, but he had a lisp. I believe his name was Clarence. He truly is a model employee and man. I am not even upset about what happened because I had the opportunity to get to know this gentleman.

I waited more than an hour in the window department and the “specialist” never showed up. I tried many things, I looked for someone to talk to him, they spoke to him at least 3 times through the megaphone, I called Home Depot on the phone but he never showed up. The only thing I know is that his name is Nick. “employee of the month” that's sarcasm.

I was at the Pin Oak Home Depot and this guy (in a Home Depot "uniform") walks past me and says, in one of the most cheerful voices I've heard, "How Are you doing today sir? Is there anything we can help you with?" I said no thank you and continued on my way. I stopped for a minute to look up something on the Home Depot app and I heard the same voice speaking to another employee. From the questions he was asking, I assume she had been injured in the past, and he was checking up on her to make sure that she had been in touch with her doctor and that if she had any issues being on her feet she needed to let him know so he could make arrangements for her. She seemed to be very grateful that he asked about her and had a huge smile on her face when I walked by her. As I continued to shop I could hear him asking employees if they needed help and asking customers if they needed help. He asked me two different times at different points in the store and the third time I took him up on it and asked about a replacement rope I needed for my tree pruner. He walked me over to the aisle and found the person who handled that section and explained to the employee what I needed and then proceeded to tell the employee that he would take the basket in the back for the employee so the employee could help me. That's when I stopped and asked him who he was and if he was new here....lol. He explained that he was a store manager that covered several stores. He was one of the most joyous and incredible spirits I have ever met and he literally made Home Depot feel like a small town hardware store. Thank you Ricky Ray for caring so much about your job, about your employees and about the customers. I'm truly a better person having met you.
