This is such a terrible store. Panhandlers in the parking lot begging for money, people begging you to buy tamales or banana bread, not being able to park because of all the sidewalk tents and yard sales going on in the parking lot. I came for carpet, it took about 30 minutes for someone to show up to help me. When they finally did show up, they took the sample (from their sample wall) and compared it to every roll (even the rolls that were different colors!) Then said they didn't have enough when she finally found it. I asked if she could sell me a different carpet for the same price (10 cent per sqft difference) and she laughed and said no, then suggested that I try their store on Westheimer on the other side of town. If Lowe's was any better, I'd go there. I guess I'll just order from another retailer online. Avoid this store, it sucks.

They have so many employees standing around talking to each other and doing everything but working or helping customers. There's no one on any registers in the building. Only the self checkout is open and the lines are crazy long. I don't understand why they have so many employees doing nothing. I couldn't wait any longer as I had to go. 40 minutes wasted

I purchased some lumber today and as I was heading for my truck a young man named Johnathon offered to help me with a carry out. I accepted his offer. He was friendly and did all the loading. He mentioned I could get splinters. I thought I had cash in my wallet for a tip but I was mistaken. I apologized to him and he said a tip wasn't necessary. Well I plan on catching him later today with a tip anyway. Thank you Johnathan!

Review is solely on me ordering a faucet cover to prepare for this drop in cold weather. I saw they had it in stock and placed a pick up order on the app. It took me about 20 minutes to drive there right after I placed the order and surprisingly it was ready in the lockers for pick up when I got there. That was extremely fast!

Long story short, after looking thoroughly for a part I needed, I found it really really high up in the isles. Like 12 ft high. So I asked an employee nicely for help (or if he could send someone to help me) given I'm 6 months pregnant and didn't want to risk falling. He literally said "everyone's at lunch and I'm busy helping someone at plumbing" I stood there expecting a "but I'll tell someone" or something but he literally just said "sorry" and walked away , So I had to go grab the high ladder and climb up to grab it myself. Thankful I didn't fall because imagine the lawsuit they would've had on their hands.

I purchased 2 vent ridge caps. The only store that had it was 2 hours from me. I called the store to verify they had the correct items sitting in front of them. I told the employee the ridge caps are brown with a yellow stripe and 20" wide. They said yes, we're sitting here looking at them. I drove the 2 hours and they immediately brought out 2 galvanized caps that are 11 7/8" wide. I spoke to the manager and he said "oh, sorry." I can see why the employees don't care.

This review isn't for this particular store, but it's for the company as a whole. I ordered a Rheem hot water heater 2 weeks ago from the HD app, paid and thought all was going to be ok. Well, when the water heater was delivered my wife opened the box as I was at work, and it was heavily damaged. The bottom of the water heater was all dented and smashed up sitting at at angle as it wouldn't sit straight up, the upper half the same, it was delivered by fedex. Anyways, I immediately called their 800 number and filed a complaint and asked that they please pick it up and deliver another. That was 2 weeks ago, and have yet to hear anything back from them. How is it that a company like this lets this happen? I will honestly never step foot in another one of their stores again, they straight up suck. This says a lot
